As an international tourist who sadly does not speak French, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the management spoke English. They were very nice and helpful. The campsite is within walking distance from a beach and 30 min cycling from the nearest shop. And it was the most beautiful cycling to grocery ever, through amazingly beautiful pine tree woods. The campsite is beautifully located omong massive pine trees, very quiet at night, only you can hear an ocean from a distance.
They accommodated me and my motorcycle last minute. The facilities were super clean with hot showers and a cold shower. Buy your own tp and only one stall had a seat, but east to get over considering how clean the place is.The wifi signal was very weak, which I’m not supposed to be on my phone while camping, but route planning took awhile. The smoothies in the morning were a great treat.
This place is really customer UN-friendly.Check-in procedure takes approx 15 minutes! The car must(!) stand outside at a busy road without parking place. The area is a wood, and the staff gives you exact advice on how the car must stand in the camper pitch. You may not choose the direction or distance inside your place.Early departure at 7:00 was not possible due to camp site rule: Gate opens 8:00. After long discussion it was confirmed that we can leave next day 7:30. We waited at the gate, when the manager arrived 7:25, but he was not willing to let us out before 7:30.When we knocked and asked again for opening at 7:35, he got agressive and shouted that we have to wait until 8:00 - "this is the rule!!"Sorry, this is a "boot-camp" behaviour.
Nice small Camping under pine trees. Awesome with kids with regards to the size. Tiny playground, but nature holds enough toys. The camping covers basic needs with very (!) friendly personnel. Recommended to book in advance, otherwise you might be moved around.
Nice little campsite. We arrived at a busy time for a one night stay and got the last spot next to the road and cafe. However we would love to return and enjoy one of the sites towards the back of the pine forest. Near lovely cycle tracks and a great surf beach. Although it was busy over bank holiday in August, it was still pleasant and small with a few bars and low key entertainment. Would recommend
