Latest reviews for AUX COULEURS DU FERRET
We camped for ten nights at Aux Couleurs du Ferret and had an excellent stay. We booked with another family and were allocated adjacent pitches, which was great for our group. The pitch itself was level and shady, and was close to the amenity block, though it had a tree in the centre which meant we had only one place where we could fit our family-size tent. This wasn't a problem though. We loved the site overall. It is beautifully landscaped and really quiet at night, which was just what we needed for our young children. It is the little touches that we really appreciated - the ability to order bread in the mornings, cycle hire, refrigerated lockers for campers, the fun Thursday night concerts, and the overall environmentally-friendly ethos of the place. The whole staff team is wonderful and they did their best to accommodate our very poor French! If we had to suggest one minor improvement, it would be to supply toilet paper and hand soap in the bathroom block. We forgot them so many times....
Beautiful site with smaller and bigger cabins and areas for tents and caravans. We rented a wooden cabin on stelts (in September) and loved the overall atmosphere, kind of like being in a Jungle. The employees were extremely friendly and forthcoming and we felt very welcome during our stay. Very eco friendly with a composting system and asking visitors to separate their trash. Would totally recommend it!
Quiet situation only the sound of a coocou to awaken you. No pool so no noise. The cabins have no isolation so can get hot despite the tree coverFriendly welcome
They cant accomodate 1 person/tent for 1 night on the 6th September.
Top!!
