Latest reviews for CAMPING DE LA DUNE - ALIAS "LES FLOTS BLEUS"
The staff was actually nice and helpful, but disappointing experience on the campside - only one single toilet / shower place for the whole camping site (the 2 provisional toilets were closed), it was not clean at all, toilet seat were missing, washing machines in the middle of the toilets, a bit messy and caotic everywhere in the camp. Then no wifi at all! And on top very loud music till 3am from a nearby club or party. Terrible night! But thanks to the dune just behind lots of people even outside peak season.
If this camping didn't have the location right next to the dune, they'd be bankrupt. Horrible personnel, always surveilling, assuming the worst, policing around. Freedom is absent here. Camping in Kazakhstan might be better.
Simple yet good campsite. Can be noisy at night (people partying or returning from party in a noisy mood) - can happen at any campsite in summer.Very good value for money.
DO NOT GO THERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE SLEEP IN THE STREET. Rude and bureaucratic staff beyond belief. The only thing they think they have going for themselves is the dunes. Unfriendliness, bad style and litterally insane bureaucratic asholiness is what they deliver.
Nice place for a few days but not longer. The Dune is impressive but it's blocking the sun in the evening so it's very fast dark. The access to the sea is not good and not recommend, you have to walk over the Dune what is very exhausting, and it is a long walk. You have to walk 100 meters up on Sand. There is a little Shop and a Pool on the place. But all in all it's a good place.
