Nice campground, location is good and the attschec restaurant is amazing. Our €50 euro deposit for a cable could not be located and it was suddenly on us to proof that the deposit was made. In the end our deposit was located but in our view completely unnecessary.
Beautiful little campsite. We stayed for a whole week on this campground. The staff is very (child)friendly. There is a pool, a bar and small snackbar. The pizzas were yummy and had a reasonable price. There is a restaurant next door if you don't want to eat pizza or fries. The pool can be a bit crowded at times but for the most part there is enough place to swim. Sanitary facilities are clean and get cleaned a couple of times per day. The pitched are quite big. The only thing why I don't give 5 stars is the fact that they have some animation happening almost every night and depending where you get your spot can be quite loud. So you should ask upfront for a place thats a bit further away from the bar area. If you wanna go to the beach you either need to have a car of rent a bike as its otherwise pretty far to walk. Other than that we had a really nice stay here.
Stopped here while cycling the Velodysee. There was only me and another couple staying in early June. They opened the swimming pool for me, only downside was the restaurant was not open, but ashore cycle to the shops.
We had the worst experience ever! Their website promissed a beautifull, relaxed and calm spacious campsite in honour with nature. Well...that's just not true.We booked a 7 night stay and with our reservation I specifically noted that we were travelling with a camping car that folds out into a tent of 8 by 5m. I received an confirmation e-mail and payed (372 EURO!) for our upcoming holiday. After a 12h car ride we arrived at the campsite. It already looked way more crowded and busy than the website promised. I entered the reception area. I stated our name and got a map of the campsite were our pitch would be. (Note, I payed for a 'grand confort' pitch that would have electricity and a water point.) We looked but couldn't find the pitch or it looked like someone already occupied the pitch with a campervan. A German couple saw us looking and informed us that we were standing on the pitch . There was no way our tent would fit. Not even a pop-up tent could fit there without sitting practically next to the people on the neighbouring pitch. Back to the reception where I informed them that our tent would not fit this pitch. Clearly annoyed she drew out 3 more pitches and on we went to look. Two of them were also too small ( I think maximum 20-30m²) and one was in 2 levels (10m² up and than 2m down a hill another 20m²) I have never in my life seen pitches and a campsite like this! I think for summer season they divide every normal pitch in 4, that is how small they are!)Slighlty agitated I went back to the reception and said again it would not fit and that I could not understand how this is happening while I clearly stated the dimensions of our tent in our reservation. The receptionist said that she knew they were too small but it was the only places they had available. I stated that than they should have cancelled my reservation and not let us drive 12 hours from home with 2 children and no place to sleep that night! Again, it was high season and in the meantime 8pm, there was no way we were going to find a place to sleep or another campsite in the area. I demanded a refund and she said she could only pay back me the next day and gave us a mobilhome to sleep in that night. The mobilhome was dirty and smelled. It was horrible , I did not sleep at all! Under the doormat there were stains. The next day I waited at the reception for it to open so I could get my money back and we could leave. To my even greater surprise they wanted to charge us for the night in the dirty mobilehome! I was really angry and demanded a full refund!Never again!
We stayed here for our family holiday in July 2017.Throughout our stay we were treated well by reception who were friendly and quick to address our needs. This can only be aided by the fact it is a French family run campsite so customer satisfaction is something they are proud of.The facilities are generally good, such as the swimming pool, though the boules area is quite small and can only allow one game at a time so we would sometimes have to wait to play. Also importantly for me the only table tennis table is damaged which should already be replaced. Our Cabin was comfortable and well cleaned with the useful compliments of bedding (duvet/pillow) and plates/cutlery.The main criticism we have about our Cabin are the borderline cold showers which are disappointing and caused my Mum to walk to the nearest showering block. The restaurant serves nice pizzas at reasonable prices with attentive service.Overall we had a pleasant holiday and hope these issues can be addressed so the campsite can reach its potential.
