Latest reviews for CAMPING PARC VERGER
We stopped at Parc Verger for 2 nights having travelled North from Perpignan. We received a warm welcome from Frank and a quick tour of the site.We had a problem having lost a lynch pin on the way and Frank came to our rescue bringing us a spare he had. The site is in a very peaceful setting and pitches were large and had all the services to hand. We didn’t get chance to eat at the on site cafe as it was closed on arrival and on our last night there was a special event but we knew we wouldn’t be back in time. I was assured that Lisa’s food is excellent so maybe next time we will get chance.Everything was well thought out and facilities were clean and great hot water. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Frank and Lisa clearly love the area and their experience as campers shows in the way they run the site. Thanks againNichola, Dan and Mitchell
This site is perfect, a geat couple who run it, frank and lisa.We were shown around on arrival, even shown the sun direction.Laundry room is kitted with wash machine and dryer, and less than €5 to wash and dry, or you can use the large outside drying area, 3 long lines and pegs supplied.Washing powder is also supplied.Restaurant and bar, with English/French food, and a huge veranda to sit on.The owner supplied us with lots of local knowledge and places to visit, dont miss Orador Sur Glane, (google it) half an hour away.We stayed 6 weeks in France on several sites. This was by far the friendliest site, speaking French and English.Thank you Frank and Lisa, we will certainly be back again.
Lovely site. Quite small but Plenty of space which is what we like. Frank and Lisa are lovely. Really hospitable and working hard to make it a great place. There’s often events on in the evening, quiz, music, games etc. if you want to attend. Van with breakfast arrives in the morning. Everything clean, well equipped and plenty of hot water.
Arrived without a reservation and welcomed to choose a pitch, from grass pitch to fully serviced. We ate at the on-site restaurant both of our 2 nights stay, and enjoyed the lovely home cooked food. Lisa in the restaurant goes out of her way to cater for everyone, with a good vegetarian selection. Franc had lots of information on the area. A great site for walking, cycling and fishing. Would recommend and look forward to returning.
Frank & Lisa were wonderfully friendly and entertaining hosts . Lots of room , trees, and amenities . Lisa fed us a fantastic homestyle meal 👍🏻only here for the one evening .Gratefulness and best wishesfrom the 🚲 🚲 from 🇨🇦
