CAMPING LE CHEYENNE

Amazing experience, we arrived late without a booking, we just tried to step in the restaurant/bar room and we found a very warm place with people playing darts, having dinner, drinking and having fun. Very nice environment, wooden room, good music.We asked for a tent place and the owner, a very gentle man, was super kind and find a place for us, while he was working in the kitchen and with other guests.Place for tent is very well organized, tidy, with edges to set boundaries between you and your neighbours. You have trees for shadow, bathroom are cleaned by the team very often, and the restaurant is offering very good dinner and wine, with big flexibility of time and super good music. All the staff is so gentle and nice!Camping is in front of the lake, with really nice landscape, relaxing, enjoying fresh time in this super nice area of forest.I really loved it!!! Peaceful small camping, large pitch with fences on the sides that guarantee privacy.Toilets and all the services cleaned 4 times a day.Restaurant/bar with french food, salads and pizza.Really kind owners (we arrive after the closing time during dinner service at restaurant and they gave us a place as well), they speak a good english.Strongly recommended!

Comfortable and nice setting. Staff friendly, best of all directly across from a stunning lake with several walking paths. Easy walk onto Châteauneuf la forêt.

Visited with a number of friends during some kind of dj event. Waited for ages for a server to arrive and take order, asked for drinks to be delivered whilst waiting for food, another age waited and a number of reminders to serving staff. Food eventually arrived with a side salad (just a side salad, other food was m.i.a) food itself was good when it eventually arrived. As was the dj.

Lovely campsite good sized pitches nice bar/restaurant, staff friendly not particularly English speaking slightly awkward for non French speaking paying visitors, only one shower on site , toilets have no seats not sure this is just a French thing as last site had same conditions, only one washing machine which took 2.5 hours after I was shown that I had to turn the water on from the mains 😂😂,beautiful views and river
