CAMPING DU LAC DE MONDON

The site is lovely but seemed very quiet considering it was high season. Pool had unpredictable opening times so did not manage to use. Very loud music and shouting til 4 am due to village party at the onside bar which we also didn't use. Huge hornets in the toilet during the night due to lights staying on and doors open which put us off using them. All in all a lovely site which sadly seems a little neglected

Been here several times now. What potential!! What a beautiful location !!!What a shame it's so abandoned/unkempt/Un-loved ??? Reception Closed, Laundry Closed, hedges not cut, No lifeguard on pool, slide closed, Main toilet block Closed (?) 2 small toilets and showers for everyone !!!Such a shame 😞😞😞Great bar/restaurant on site. Great pool. Lovely Staff (when I spot them !)Hope it stays open and improves 🤞🤞🤞Seeing this in France more and more now what is going on in France ??By the way!!! The restaurant on site is absolutely fantastic, run by Belgium's great place independent from the camp site 👌

Nice little campsite in a very quite surrounding. At the border of a small fishing lake (permit needed).Swimming pool and nice restaurant available.The personel at the reception waited for us. We arrived a little later then de opening hours. We had called in advance that we where a bit later and that was no problem.€27 for one night for 4 persons caravan and electricity.

Went for lunch here as new owners. We had tomato and carrot soup, which was delicious. Followed by half chicken (not nice) husband had pasta (so much in bowl made him feel ill). The portion size here is much too huge. It is off-putting having so much on your plate presentation is lovely, Service was superb. The chicken was cooked in some curry gravy that tasted over cooked and boiled, not to my taste a huge portion of chips way too many. My husband’s pasta camenin a bowl filled he couldn't eat half of it as there was so much. We did not have dessert as there was no room. We would try again, but honestly, you need to reduce your portions as you will be bankrupt in the summer!! Location is beautiful and the service was wonderful. Thank you we will come back.

We went for a drink at the recently opened bar.The menu looked great with some nice desert choices.We only had a beer each but it was only 2 euro a 25ml glass. Well worth a visit, lovely peaceful place.
