Latest reviews for CAMPING DE MONTRÉAL
Visited June 2024.An ideal stopping point if travelling to southwest France. A picturesque campsite with all of the pitches having a lovely view of the pond. Yes it is inland but has a restaurant overlooking a substantial beach and pond beyond. Our pitch had a private bathroom and shower with a utility area outside. The private area was new, very clean, functional and very welcomed - A strong selling point. The restaurant has a warm cozy vibe selling great food. From the campsite there are walks in every direction - relaxing and stunning. We'd definitely recommend it.
Overnight stop with 7m Motorhome. Good friendly service with very busy owners making time for their guests. Excellent location just a few kilometres off A20. Beautiful spot with lake where swimming is allowed. Campsite has a small pool too. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced with a good indoor room and outdoor veranda with lakeside view. We will definitely return.
A camping on a lovely location run by an even lovelier couple. Pitches are generous with ample privacy and shade if desired. Facilities are straightforward, nothing fancy (like some camping have them) but provide for all necessities. The proximity to the lake provides for a relaxing surrounding. Some wonderful sunrises can be observed with the foggy water and land. Biking, swimming (pool or lake), mountain biking, walking, all can be done in the surrounding area. The restaurant - run by the same couple and their hard working waitress - is very busy every evening. The menu is not too overwhelming but the food is really good.Love the place, love the owners!!!
We are only here for one night, travelling north, but the service is excellent, the site is beautiful, loving the quirky bits (very special) and services good and very clean. Views of the lake are exceptional and there are good sized secluded pitches all round. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, when reception is closed, find a pitch and let them know when it opens again. I would certainly use it again and stay longer next time. Can't comment on bar/ restaurant operation as we didn't use it, but if others comments are sound, then I think they are likely correct. All in all a site worthy of a visit and the old town looks fantastic, again just sorry we were on a schedule!
Camped here for a night en-route to Spain. Very friendly staff and super clean facilities. Lovely lake views. Will return in warmer weather as the surrounding area is well worth a visit. Thanks for staying open all year, despite the challenges of the extreme cold.
