CAMPING L'AIR DU LAC

Very old accommodation, with old window frames that were falling apart and one bedroom door didn’t shut at all. The terrace was broken up concrete, very uneven. Whilst the bathroom and kitchen were clean, it was dusty and full of cobwebs, the windows were dirty and the mattresses uncomfortable.The campsite itself is very very quiet. Very little to do except use the lake. The sides which are advertised as part of the campsite have to be paid for per person, per day. That is NOT clear on the website. The games room just has air hockey and snooker. Nothing else. The shop sells very very little, nothing of use.Staff in the ‘buvette’ (kiosk) by the lake were friendly but otherwise the park has few positives for a family trip.

A pretty site with beautiful views over the lake. It was perfect for swimming, cycling and walking and the canvas bungalow was excellent.

The showers were fixed temperature & very cool for April. The bathroom was lit by PIR lighting which timed out ½ way through showering, leaving the area in darkness . . . . probably best to leave this campsite for summer.

Visited in September paid normal cost yet find only 1 toilet and 1 shower available. Very poor will not return

Terrific campsite, reasonable rates.Nice and peaceful off season.Lake for swimming and lake for fishing.Downside is it's a bit of a steep walk down to the lakes.Definitely be back next year.
