Showers are old but clean and powerful. Weird toilet setup as there are no toilet seats or hand washing facilities in the toilet block.Water points few and fair between, electric hookups can be quite a distance from the pitch (we managed with a 15 meter) if you choose or get given a pitch that is a way from the hookup point.Quite a lot of pitches are sloped, we found that pitch 46 was the most level and close to an electric hook-up point and had a lovely view of the lake.The lake is good for swimming and water sports and is an easy 2min walk from the site.It's just about passable for a stop over, but would not like to spend my holiday there.

Lovely quiet location. Miles of tracks for cyclists or walkers to enjoy around the lake. V friendly staff. Toilet block immaculate even so close to the end of their season.

Wow, what an experience it was to stay at"camping du lac Saint Pardoux". It feels like you have entered another dimension! The beauty of the lake, the forestry the sunshine is unparrelled. But the jewel in the crown is the unique atmosphere at this campsite. There is something here for all ages, entertainment every night, from pool parties to outdoor cinema to karaoke. The range of activities during the day on the lake is so impressive... zip lining, aqua Park, ski nautique, kayaking, sailing, cycle paths, archery to mention a few. It is so well organised with every detail taken care of. A special mention to the campsite managers Ben and Sarah who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We will definitely be back for a return visit!

The location is very good but I was really disappointed in the facilities. I've stayed in basic campsites and really enjoyed them, but I was expecting a lot more for the price and the promise of 4 star camping. The sanitary blocks are poorly located and very poorly maintained. The sinks leaked, it was often dirty, there was a noticeable plumbing smell. There was absolutely no illumination whatsoever at night and trekking across the entire campsite to get to a toilet block was a real pain. None of this is completely unacceptable, but I expected more andfelt cheated.

Good camping site with pool, next to the lake where you can enjoy the lake, fairly shallow so good for kids. Ice cream bar and toilets open in July and August. Recommended 👍
