Latest reviews for CAMPING LES PRÉS VERTS
Vélodyssée bikepacking. Great venue, area were bikepackers camp has tables but also is next to a mosquito area. The campsite had signs for storm alert that seemed to happen quite often, we experienced one that night. Swimming pool had a slide and a jacuzzi. Slightly overpriced, compared to other similar places 27€ two people I believe. Worth stopping there but check the forecast.
This area is a gorgeous unspoilt place with cycle routes (fab for roller skating too!), a gentle large lake with some small beaches, and not much going on. One tiny convenience store, 2 typically seaside cafes, a pizzeria - and that's it. Come prepared to picnic or cook. This campsite is right on the lake, near a green, a woodland walk, several cycle routes, and some public park- style exercise equipment. There's tennis and boules, a mini skate park, and an atmosphere of chilled, simple, healthy living. Come to relax and find peace. But bring food!
Friendly staff and an excellent placement for the cyclists who take the Vélodyssée route. The placement is just beautiful in front of the lake. The tent pitch that was allocated to us could have been a tad better as the ground was uneven.
Very misleading advertising. Worst Campsite we have ever stayed on. Tent pitches were dreadful. No hot water for washing dishes, only three toilets (one of which was frequently out of order). Toilet block was situated in the middle of the Mobile homes! It was a long walk from tent pitches to toilet block. Fruit pickers were living on Campsite and played loud music till late. They also made a lot of noise. They were up at 5.30/6 am each morning and were again very loud. On Saturday afternoon there was a very large influx of children and adults. They played music till the very early hours of the morning, let off fire crackers at 2 am and at 4am there were children running around the tent area pulling pegs out of the guide ropes. We complained to Management who said well it only happens once a year!!! We felt they were not really interested in our complaint. Wouldn't recomment this site to anyone.
We stayed at the Aire here not on the site, beautiful location, the site when we visited was quite busy, but well worth a visit.
