Lovely campsite with loads to do for kids and adults. The pool is large with slides, rapids and an indoor young children’s pool (which is excellent). The camp shop is well stocked and serves fresh croissants and bread in the morning - it is a little expensive (recommend going to the Intermarche a few miles away for bigger shops). The entertainment in the evenings is really professional and popular - make sure you get there early to get a seat. The pitches are a good size and are well maintained. One thing to mention is that the campsite is HUGE - this is fine but it can take a while to walk around if you’re in a pitch quite far from the pool.

We checked out today, we stayed here for 10 nights and found the following good and bad parts of our stay:Positives:+ swimming pool complex is amazing+ The indoor area is very safe for little ones+ The lifeguards are mostly helpful and thorough with injuries+ The campsite let us check in a few hours before check in time, and it seems that they let people use the swimming pool after the check out time+ The campsite feels very safe to walk around and for the children to play+ They have frequent kids club activities, 2 or 3 per day, 6 days a week.+ Evening entertainment is great with mini disco and other activities after the mini disco+ Lots of bins around the campsite and the pool area, so there was not much rubbish around+ Our mobile home was well equipped but in both homes the hobs did not correspond to the diagrams+ The wifi works quite well across the campsiteNegatives:- Our mobile home was not clean, the floor hadn't been mopped properly and there were black hairsMy parents mobile home had not been hoovered properly. Both times the mobile homes were cleaned within hours of reception being notified.- The pillows are terrible, very soft, lumpy and uncomfortable- Swimming pool doesn't open til 10am- The campsite gets very busy on the weekends, no loungers in the pool and no space to move at the pool party, and it's very noisy even past 11pm (designated quiet time)- Some of the pool areas (mainly toilets) were not very clean and smelled bad even first thing in the morning. I found what looked to be the inside of a nappy on the steps of the indoor pool and had to clean it up myself, as it was dangerous. One day the toilet brush holder in one of the toilets had been knocked over, and the disgusting liquid wasn't cleaned up before the end of the day. Considering that the swimming pool users don't have shoes or socks, the lack of cleaning is worrying.- The campsite clearly aligns itself to Spanish times with the pool not opening until 10am, and the mini disco at 20:30 3 times a week, and 21:00 3 times a week, which is late for most families with young children.- The music at the mini disco is 90% Spanish, despite there being more Irish people during the week.- One evening there was a juggler, but he didn't start until 21:50 so our children didn't get to see much of his performance as they were too tired by that time.- The playground does not have much to occupy under 4 year old children- The lifeguards let people jump into swimming pools next to the 'no jumping' sign, they let kids push past other kids on the queues, they let over 10s stay in the under 10s swimming area and use the slides instead of the little children, the lifeguards see it and do nothing. One day, the lifeguard on the volcano spent more time looking on his phone than at the pool- Apart from the indoor swimming area for under 10s, there is nothing to do on the campsite when it rains, and it rained a lot.We wouldn't come back, mainly for the fact that it feels more aligned to Spanish visitors than French. Even our information booklet was in Spanish.

Have stayed several times at Yelloh and thisvwas our second stay at Sylvamar. Found certain areas of the site to be neglected. Broken pathways, dirty toilets, playroom area all in need of attention. Had room issues (including a leak which flooded the accomodation) which were ignored by reception.

We had a camping pitch with private bathroom. Loads of space and well kept. Swimming pool facilities are amazing with loads to occupy the kids. Lots of space for sun beds. Bar and restaurant area was excellent with friendly staff who are always happy to help at any time. Never been to such a big campsite but was so impressed with how much there was to do. My children were never bored right up till midnight with the entertainment at the amphitheatre! Would happily book again. Highly recommended for family camping summer trip.
