Latest reviews for CAMPING SUNELIA LES OYATS
Being somewhat lost in the forest with the beach at a 5min walk make this place one of my favorite.Even if I did not used most of them, the services are plenty and easy to access. The employees are friendly and responsive. That was my second stay there, and probably not the last one.
Late checkin worked well - but that is the only thing. Bad WiFi, no signal, beach pretty far and camping pitch very far away from bathrooms and also no water for cooking, no outdoor showers for surfboards. Overall wouldn’t recommend for camper vans, digital nomads
Mohammed, the security responsible was extremely nice and helpful. We had an issue and he really did his best to help us. Plus he was the only staff member who really could communicate in English. Thank you! :)
REALLY BAD experience this Year. I stayed at Camping Les Oyats in the SUmmer 2022 with my family and it was great. The Camping has everything you need to have a good time with your kids. We liked so much that we booked right away for 2023. We paid to reserve a specific House. Meanwhile another Company (Siblu) bought the Camping and the problems started. First they couldn’t find the pre-reservation and I ended paying again extra to have the House that I wanted. When we arrived we needed to clean the floor because it was really dirty. On the day before our departure I went to the reception and I was told that we could leave, and after that a Team would check the House to see if it was cleaned. We cleaned the House and it was a lot cleaner than what we found on arrival. We cleaned really everything. We have stayed there the year before and lots of other times we spent holidays with Airbnb and we always did the cleaning and there was never a problem. One week after we left, 150€ were charged from my Credit Card because the House was not properly cleaned. I called the Camping and they said they couldn’t do anything. I needed to complain with Siblu. The only way to do this is via Email. I wrote them 3 times and never received an answer. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Be really careful if you decide to spend your next holidays there. It is such a cool location but with SIBLU in charge you should really think twice before booking.
Used to be one of my favourite spots. New managenent has turned an awesome campsite into a holiday home village - almost no sites for campers left.A real shame - used to be great for surfers and families…Another victim of profit maximizing corporations.
