We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay here! The only issue we encountered was the parking. The spaces near the accommodation were too small, making it difficult to park without blocking the road.Accommodation: As a large family of six, including a couple of members who are 6ft 4in, we found the accommodation quite comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the beds were comfortable.Activities: We had a blast participating in the organized football, basketball, water basketball, and mini disco.Swimming pool and slides: This is probably what everyone cares about most, right? Like most places, people rush to secure sunbeds, and although there are plenty, you need to arrive early to get one. However, we found the grassy area around the pool to be more comfortable due to the trees and shade. The slides were fantastic and plentiful, providing fun for all ages, from our youngest to the oldest. Despite the busyness, the queues moved quickly, and even at peak times, we never waited longer than 5 minutes. If you see a long queue, chances are there are other slides with shorter lines, so just move past the crowd to those.Recommendations to make it even better:- Open pool for longer (maybe early start and later finish) 10-8 seems like a long time but Jene it’s HOT and you have kids, the longer the better.- more shade at the pool area

Great stay wish it had been longer. Excellent bus service to the town of Bidart and the beach. Definitely worth a visit on Tuesday (market day). The farm is cute. Loads of things to do on / off site and great base to explore and eat out in the Basque region

Stayed in Premium accommodation which was dirty and foul smelling. We were given a filthy mop on the deck; fridge had a layer of melted butter at the bottom- we told reception of this and were promised it would be cleaned- it wasn’t. We paid in advance for sheets and towels but were told at reception that we hadn’t paid before they then realized their mistake. The sheets we were given did not fit the bed and the towels were grubby and threadbare. Swimming pools have no area suitable for swimming; there’s no handrail for safe access. One part of the main pool was very slippery and we saw several young and old people fall there. Ball playing and the use of inflatable devices was allowed in the pool. No sun parasols are provided in main pool area. Toilet facilities in pool across road were very dirty. Campsite staff drove golf buggies at high speed and in a dangerous fashion. Cars were allowed to drive around the site at nighttime. In my opinion the campsite does not deserve its five star rating.

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of August with Eurocamps. The caravan we had was tired and not very clean when we arrived. The Eurocamps reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The holiday camp is quite large and split into two parts. The main kids swimming pool is big with slides and splash areas etc. there was another pool which was supposed to be adults only in the afternoons but wasn't policed so there were plenty of youngsters running around which didn't bother us. There were several play areas for the kids and plenty of petting animals like goats, donkeys, ponies, wallabies and pigs. There was a large fishing lake but you could only fish from a few areas there as swims had not but cut in. I caught carp, catfish and perch. The shop seemed to be well stocked and the restaurant was good but got very busy at times without enough staff. I would visit again but wouldn't rush back.

In the middle of a week here, staying in a "premium" caravan. Premium basically means there's a Nespresso machine and a slimline dishwasher!Very basic. You get enough toilet roll for 1 day for a family. 1 tiny bottle of washing up liquid and a scotch pad.The caravan is TINY. Makes it rather awkward to be in there as a family of 4. Some of the parking spaces at the caravans aren't big enough for a car.The pool bar food is poor.Plus sides are the place isn't a Brit resort, so it's French language most places, with staff either speaking a little English, or none. Feels like France! The fishing lake is a bonus for those who enjoy it. Carp and brown bullhead were the most common things I caught during the week.Prices are OK on site. The kids love the pool, slides, "toilet bowl" etc, and there are a few wee animals. They're not H&S crazy like the Brits so it's quite enjoyable doing activities.
