We had a pitch for our caravan. The camping is very well maintained. The staff is really friendly and helpful. But, the place is extremely loud at the evening and nights. There is very loud music/party at the restaurant until 11PM. After that a lot of young people meet, chat and shout below the pool area. Cannot recommend the place, if you are seeking for a relaxing camping in the beautiful basque country!

We arrived without booking in advance and stayed 4 nights at this campsite. The only pitch left was premium but after 1 night we definitely wanted to stay another 3 nights. Its very family and kids orientated with lots of facilities to keep everyone entertained. There was a restaurant/bar, shop, gym, games room, swimming pool in and outdoor. The wifi is excellent and beach is a dog walking distance which was great for us. Its a large campsite with pitches and mobile homes and has everything you need to have a great stay. The campsite is open all year round but the prices are higher than than the average campsite due to its excellent facilities.

Great location on the road between Bidart & Biarritz. Quiet nicely developed pitches. Very varied accommodation. Nice pools. Small bar & restaurant on site. Very good campsite shop. Gym. Lots of sports facilities. Great base for travelling all around the Basque coast. A very hilly site!

We've just come back from a great 1 week holiday at Camping Ilbarritz. We were 2 families booked into the Manduka. It was absolutely perfect for us. The accommodation was clean, had all kitchen equipment, was well laid out, had plenty of storage and was comfortable. When they say it sleeps 8 people they really mean it. We thought our 4 month old baby could stay in our room with us but there was no space for her so she was in a room on her own. The travel cots provided were perfect and both our children slept really well in them. As an added bonus the windows have a black out option! The set up was 2 separate mobile homes with a shared terrace was absolutely perfect. Each family had their own space while at the same time we could eat and socialise together on the terrace. The bbq was perfect and we loved having the hot tub for when the kids were gone to bed at night. Any staff we spoke with were very helpful and friendly. In the lead up to the holiday I had afew questions which were all answered promptly through email. The campsite was very quiet while we were there which meant there was always space around the pool and the playground wasn't busy. I would imagine it gets busier as the season continues. There didn't seem to he much in the way of daytime or evening entertainment but perhaps that is because it was early in the season. The shop was well stocked but expect to pay more for the convenience. We didn't of our shopping in the Supermarche which is a 10 minute walk away... it had everything you could possibly want and all food was top quality. We took the bus to Bidart one day and to Biarritz another day, both very easy to navigate and bus stops were close to the campsite. All in all a wonderful experience and a great holiday was had!

We've just finished at absolutely amazing 10 days at Ilbarritz and we really couldn't have asked for a better holiday. We were a family of 5 (a nearly 5 year old, 2.5 and a 2 month old baby) and there was something for everyone. The facilities are ideal. The indoor pool was perfect when the weather was a bit questionable, the pirate ship pool great for hours of endless play and then the outdoor pool amazing for when the weather was nice. The indoor and outdoor pool are heated so no issue with the weather not being too hot yet. The playpark and bouncy castle are an added bonusThe Lodge itself, we stayed in a lodge close to the dog walking area which felt super quiet which is great but tbh all the lodges are well separated. Inside the black out blinds were great for sleeping and the cooking facilities made eating in easy. The wee shop had fresh bread and croissants every day which made for a handy breakfast but if you wanted to Lidl and the Intermarché are a 10 min walk away or there is an Artisian bakery 1.5km away en route to Bidart. Top notch croissants. The location is ideal. You could walk to both Bidart and Biarritz if you didn't have young kids but we chose to take a bus which stops right outside. The buses take contactless and are very easy to use. The beach is also just down the hill. We didn't have a car and felt like we could get everywhere we wanted. Also super handy for the airport.I'll finish on the staff. Every single member of staff was extremely welcoming. My 2.5 year old was fascinated by the wee golf buggies that the staff use and he would enthusiastically wave every time he saw one. Not once did someone not wave back to him. He loved it. The restaurant staff, the pool staff, management, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday so good.I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay at the Yelloh village at Ilbarritz and I would also highly recommend visiting the region - fantastic for young and old.
