CAMPING VILLAGE ESKUALDUNA

We arrive early afternoon what looked like a friendly place to stay. My son was excited to go into pool but he was refused because he was wearing swim shorts as oppose to lycra swimsuit which nobody wears anymore! We have been to a lot of campsites and we never heard this most absurd rule! Their explanation was sand and hair?! Sand still gets into lycra and how they are covering other body hair I wonder! My son got changed into lycra material skate shorts still refused. We asked for a refund and moved to another campsite close by without this silly rule!!!

Really nice site just 4km from Hendaye. Free shuttle bus just outside the entrance which runs every 30 minutes. If you prefer to cycle or walk there is cycle paths however very steep hills. You may also get a small ferry into Hondarribia Spain from Hendaye which costs 2.50euros and takes 10 minutes. You may take your bicycle however no E bikes. I stayed 2 nights at Camping Eskualduna July 24 and can say it's value for money. All usual facilities including laundry, restaurants, large pool with slides and shop all very clean and well maintained. Pitches can be uneven and messy when wet , however good size with power points which are 2 pin so those travelling from the UK should have an adapter.Children will not get bored at this camp. Free WiFi which I found had a very good signal strength. Highly recommended 5 stars.

Great camping with only one big disadvantage. Only barbecues with charcoal are allowed (and often used) which pollutes the air frequently.

Stay One night. Very good service. I was on a stopover with camping car. Nice online service. Clean.

Beautiful camping with mobile homes, almost like new (2023). Everything is still clean and in working order. The camping has everything you need; washing machines, heated pool, basketbal field. No oven, just a microwave though, but besides that, no bad thoughts.
