To the manager. On Sunday sept 1st, early in the morning, we wanted to visit the camping to decide whether or not to book for next year. Initially we thought to just walk in but decided better to wait for a staff member to arrive. After half an hour a guy showed up just to welcome us with a cold "no" you cannot visit, "no" we cannot show you the place, and "no" you cannot try later. Very bad manners for a receptionist. The camping lost us as customers even before we tried to stay.
The snack bar LA PEÑA is just brilliant, with a unique identity, simplicity, conviviality and a trip back to the 70s and 80s. If you really want to discover people who don't take themselves too seriously, with scale and a truly humanist dimension, you'll be delighted.Even the naughty and terrible kids who are burnt out almost everywhere, who show respect and who know what they're doing are received and considered. Most of them are fishermen, former coastal surfers, atypical old-school hippies with real personalities. All the fakes and other fashion posers will feel out of place here, despite the fact that they are welcome. As for the food, it's all Spanish-style, with fresh fish sourced daily from the fishermen of St Jean / Ciboure. Everything is homemade to order at prices from another era.One day this place will disappear in favour of profitability and a globalised image, just like the Acotz district which, with its trendy restaurants and bars, is seriously starting to stink. Thanks to Tiaket on behalf of all those guys who still had a place to meet up and party, all things considered ------
So how do i put it i tried to work hère i leftthe directeur locked me in a room with her started shouting AT me made me scared feel in danger made me cry multiple Timesshe was not very nice at all
Good but some service, like laundry and game room can be improved. Quiet campsite that more or less respects its three stars but there are some services to improve, such as the laundry and the games room, the layout of the bathrooms, showers and washbasins is a bit strange but everything is clean. The snack Bar has had a drastic drop in quality compared to the old management, such as order and cleaning, I cannot use a snack bar that is often closed and that does not appear tidy, welcoming and kind to customers, in the past we consumed every day, with the old management, everything was good and the staff professional. Inside the campsite, the staff proved efficient and professional, thank you for our stay, we will be back!
This is a great camping site with fair prices. You'll find everything you need, and the staff is very kind and helpful. There are nice beaches nearby that you can easily reach from this place.
