Great campsite not too far to walk or cycle to the beach. The location is great just off the main route into town. We spent a fab 2 days here to explore Socoa and Saint Jean de Luz (not to be missed). The pitches are big enough and the facilities (toilets and showers) were excellent. Great location to camp and explore. There is a great patisserie about a 5 min walk from the site with a Lidl opposite.
Pretty cozy camping ground. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The installations are new and clean. The places are in good size... close to supermarket, 15 min walking to the centre ville.
It's a nice campsite. Friendly staff. Other Campers not so much. Too many camper vans. However, it's quite close to the town and there are a couple of supermarkets close by. On foot 20 mins, by bike 5. It's quiet and clean. You can find shade and you'll be camping on grass.
I recently had an encounter with the campsite staff, even though I wasn't a guest at the time, and it left a lot to be desired. I simply wanted to change my T-shirt in the toilets at the entrance of the campsite, but the staff's behavior was rather alarming. They didn't allow me even a moment to get dressed before insisting that I leave immediately.I didn't utilize any of their facilities, not even the showers, but one staff member started shouting at me to "exit the bathrooms immediately." It was an uncomfortable and entirely unwarranted experience, in my personal opinion. Regardless of my guest status, I believe that everyone should be treated with respect and courtesy, and it was evident that this staff member had difficulty controlling their anger.I can't help but worry that if you encounter any issues during your stay at this campsite, your experience might not be as pleasant as you'd hope. It's crucial for staff to maintain professionalism and treat all individuals with respect, whether they are guests or not.
We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The staff makes you feel at home. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. It's super quiet at night. We will definitely come back!
