Latest reviews for CAMPING MUNICIPAL DE L'ALLOCHON
very nice campsite, all is perfect!!
beautiful little municipal camp site that's very well kept up and has all the necessities you would need all with a great price! if you're looking for a camping in this erea, I definitely recommend this place
We gave this site 2 stars because the site itself is very well looked after, quiet and tranquil.I read reviews from 2,3,& 4 years ago saying it had clean facilities, having just been there I think that was probably the last time anyone cleaned or maintained them, they were really dirty. We saw other campers open toilet doors then shut them again rather than go in, the whole block is sadly neglected, which is a shame, as the town is worth a visit and it is a quiet and relaxed campsite. Enough to say we paid for 3 nights but only stayed 2 as we did not feel safe using any of the facilities, from washing and washing up to the showers it was all dirty and neglected. We use municipal sites a lot so we know some are better than others but this is the first time we wanted to leave so quickly. Sorry but we will not return here.
Spacious pitches, quiet, clean and modern facilities, easy walk to town centre which has all eating and drinking outlets plus good small supermarket.
We visited towards the end of the season and thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. We virtually had the place to ourselves, it was well maintained and the staff could not have been more helpful (including giving me and the dog a lift to the vet). Grassy pitches by the side of a small brook, with a small park over the road ideal for the dog to run around in. Five minute walk into the town centre which is fairly interesting although largely closed midweek outside of season. Disabled facilities were reasonably good but as usual you have to ask for them to be opened up. Access from the autoroute through the town centre with a caravan is not particularly difficult. Would definitely call again if looking for a stop for a few nights.
