Latest reviews for CAMPING DU PAYS DE BEILLE
Stayed here fir a few nights arriving 13th July- site was full due to arrival of le tour the next day. They found me a spot! Great people & great campsite. Next to a river possible for swimming with the locals
Stayed on this camping with a small tent for 3 nights end of April with no electricity (it was available but I didn’t need it). Overall good basic campgrouns with lots of year-round caravan/camper/chalet places. There’s lots to do in the area.Good things:- Nice green tent fields, lots of trees- Next to the river- Friendly staff- There was a indoors room where campers could stay when it was raining with a table and chairs and some games- Very cheap pricePoints of improvement:- The sanitary facilities look very old and unloved and it wasn’t clean in my opinion.- There could be some small things that could improve the experience here: there are not enough places to put your towel, clothes, etc. when you want to have a shower. Some hooks or benches or shelves would be handy. There was only one bin in the shower/toilet area - it’d be better if every toilet would have its own bin so toilet-related items don’t have to be brought into the teeth-brushing/make-up area…- There’s no soap and paperntowels/blow-dryer in the toilet area to wash your hands, so that is something you need to bring alongside your toilet paper.
Small, very pleasant campsite, quiet, spacious and shaded pitches. At the back of the campsite there are more natural pitches which we personally very much appreciated. The managers are very friendly, smiling, helpful. The sanitary facilities are very, very well maintained (a little old but the managers plan to change them as soon as possible). A fridge and freezer are available to campers (kettle too) and a room in case of rain with library, TV.In short, we had an excellent vacation (12 nights), what's more, in a region with beautiful hikes or visits like the talc quarry. Also very appreciable is the possibility of going on foot to do your shopping from the campsite (very good butcher's shop in the Spar store).
Quiet campsite in beautiful surroundings. Closed from noon until 2 p.m., but we could be reached by telephone and heard that there was room, we were already standing in front of the gate and it was impossible to turn around with the caravan (except disconnecting it). Fortunately, other compatriots let us through the barrier. Sanitary facilities are mediocre.
We arrived after 6pm, we called and they came to open the door in 5 minutes. The very friendly receptionist told us what our plot was and where we had the bathrooms and the light point.Very quiet and very beautiful campsite. River to bathe. 100% recommended.
