Latest reviews for CHALETS & CAMPING VILLA MAYARI
If you like nature and peace and quite this place is ideal. Late arrival is fine if you call ahead. Showers work great, and toilets are clean. Simple and good. If all other campings are full, this one can have places available as it is large and off the beaten track.
You can't imagine a better place to land after a day of bicycling the region than at this camping. I had a warm welcome by Juan Carlos and Anne, who run this campsite since two years. They are there to help you out with the problems you can run into when travelling. They welcome especially people on bycicle. For me, it was a small detour on my itinerary, but it was certainly worth it. The campsite is very shaded and very quiet. This is not the sort of campsite where you're in a village of caravans with all noisy people. It has some chalets, but spread out, and beatiful and large spaces. There is a little pool to refresh and relax. The camping aims to be ecological.
When you arrive the owner lets you choose your own spot in the forest. When we were there we couldn't even see other people from our spot so it felt like we weren't at a camping at all. Toilets and showers are very clean. Owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend for people that want the feeling of camping in the wild but also want to jump in the pool on a hot day.
We had a wonderful time here. Anne and Juan Carlos were welcoming and attentive hosts. Check in was simple and the cabin was very comfortable and well appointed with a warm shower outlasting our daughter's playful and extended end of day bathing regimen. A great place to enjoy the sights sounds and smells of the French countryside.
Anne & Juan are such a nice couple together, running this beautiful camping in nature with great sceneries. The toilets and showers are clean and decent. The spots for tents are wide and you have enough privacy which is great. Thank you Anne & Juan for the nice stay!
