CAMPING DU LAC

Great little campground . Friendly staff and close enough to Foix . River 2 min walkWe rented a little one bedroom cabin .. perfect for our needs .

Not a good site, no explanation of the site or even a map, only 2 toilets and 2 showers for over 20 pitches, not very well kept and next to a loud and busy road.In response to the owners commentsFirstly, the toilets were not the only reason for the 1 star… see above review; and just to add, the guest you had on site, several family’s were abusive, drunk and obnoxious - loud music, leaving litter around and some peeing in the bushes (probably due to lack of toilets..)Secondly, we noted 2 toilet blocks whilst walking around site, 1 was closed off, the other by the pool.. perhaps a map or some signs would help..

All facilities were spotless and hot water plentiful.Pitches were clean and tidy.Pool was clean and kept to high standard.

Only had 1 night in October but loved the setting on the lake .Warm welcome on arrival and clean bathrooms but I think it might be very busy in summer as not many bathroom facilities

Nice small site.mainly static caravans.About 40 pitches .Full every night, campervan motor bike push bikes everything.Forget the wiFi you have to stand by reception to use it.But have 4g.It's right in the river which we have access to very nice.Also have a pool.It is on a main road and a motorway is visible from site so have traffic noise but it's not that bad.Would definitely stay here again and came on the A64 from Biarittz to junction 20 on D117 to Foix .It's spectacular.Foix is a beautiful place.
