Latest reviews for CAMPING LE PETIT PYRÉNÉEN
Came in a Motorhome for 2 nights and staying for 6 it’s so good. It’s quiet early June, showers and toilets are very clean, great laundry, lovely snack bar very reasonably priced and the pool is to die for. Pitches are very large ans some have mature hedging. 5-10 min cycle into the local village, or 25min walk. Riverside location and it’s immaculate and the couple who run it are clearly very dedicated and proud. There is good MTB routes too. We will be back!
For those who love human-size campsites close to nature, this is a perfect one !We stayed 2 weeks in a 3-bedrooms mobile-home, perfectly equipped and ideally located in front of the playground and next to the pool. The accommodation was new and clean, nicely combined with a large terrace. The camping has very comfortable pitches offering lots of privacy and shade. The river is beautiful and refreshing. The camping is located along a road, which is not very much frequented. You can find all services in the village le Mas d’Azil located 1 km away. There is also a lovely footpath alongside the river that takes you to this village directly from the camping. The new owners (since Spring 2023) Cecile and Thomas are doing their utmost best to facilitate your stay. They are super welcoming and offering great suggestions for day trips in the region. They serve breakfast as well at the little bar/snack and drinks and food in the late afternoon & diner. Fresh bread and croissants are delivered every morning, no need to go to the bakery. Once per week a different food truck came for diner time and sometimes there are small “living room concerts” on the terrace at the bar.In short, an ideal holiday destination !Jean & Maartje
Fantastic camp site with very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Around half the camping was too wet for our campervan due to rains. Didn't fancy cooking: dinner at the on-site restaurant was good. As we explained our activity interests, she immediately gave good advice. Went to the market on wednesday, had a great lunch in the village and walked (climbed) to the dolmen. In short: great location with good service. Recommended!
Lovely, friendly campsite. We had a nice, riverside pitch on level grass. It was lovely to have a swimming pool and fresh bread deliveries every morning. Facilities were clean but why no toilet seats?
Beautiful camping, we had a place next to the river Arize. What makes this the best camping we visited this year is the very friendly and hospitable staff. Thank you, Cécile!
