CAMPING L'APAMÉE

Came for one night stayed for 3. Very welcoming site. Nice restaurant and bar. Pitches are mostly shaded but there are a few without which we chose because of the time of year. Facilities are clean and plenty of the. Situated just outside the village of Pamiers and it has a stream for kayaking and swimming. Out door pool (closed on our visit) They sell and serve the most amazing Rosè wine !!! We will be back. The owner has great English !

The campsite is right beside the river, which is lovely to walk along and to fall asleep at night to the sound of, and it is an easy walk in to the town centre. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, we couldn’t have asked for more. He lent us a plug adapter and an extension lead so we could charge our electronics in the tent, and made sure we had everything we needed. The site is very well maintained with lovely mature trees and shrubs and spacious pitches. Showers were fine, good pressure and plenty of hot water. We were in a tent and there were some things which were really good for us, such as grass pitches with good ground – not stony or gravelly – and well-lit paths with low-level lighting which doesn’t shine into the tent at night. Our pitch had both sun so the tent could dry from the dew in the morning, and shade for us to sit in. There are modern washing and drying machines (the kind you see outside supermarkets) which take both coins and card, which was very useful for us. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Good sight. Large pitches with mixed hedging. Lots of trees so a choice of shaded or open pitch. Small pool but adaquate. Great new couple running it since start 2024.

We stayed for one Night. Very nice plots with lot of Space and large and old trees. Quiet location close to a river. The sitemanager was very friendly and helpful.

Our booking was not found and we had to pay again, the bungalows were OK, a little dirty, the bathrooms had dead flies and bugs everywhere. Really hard to find this camping too. Has a good pool, and a trampoline which was cool.
