We just arrived back in UK after a wonderful trip to France, the highlight of which was Camping La Romiguiere. What a beautiful place, a real gem. The setting, the lake, absolutely stunning and great for switching off. Peaceful for paddleboarding, kayaking or just swimming in nature.We had very good (hot) weather for our September stay and though the pool usually closes at end of season, it was kept open for another week due to the weather which we were grateful for!After end of season, it is quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed the silence.So many places to explore in the area, many nice villages, waterfalls, hiking trails.The mobile home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking the wonderful local produce.Stephane was super helpful and kindly allowed us to try out our very poor French now and again! And his wife makes delicious fruit candies.Although a very long journey for us, we intend to come back! Thank you Stephane!

The camping had a stunning view of the sunset and the water was super nice to swim in. The wine there was a 10/10 and the bartender was very sweet and handsome :)Greetings from La Belgique !Xxx Lena & Romy

Always a perfect 3-day break at the beginning of July. Bring a light sweater because mornings are still a bit chilly at this time of the year.
