Latest reviews for CAMPING LES RIVAGES
This is a nightmare campsite for anyone who likes their campsites to be calm and relaxing. It is very close to major roads and a small town. When we visited in August it was very crowded and did not have enough decent shade. Both the pool and riverside area were heaving with people. Our pitch was right next to two car parks. However the staff were all very pleasant and the site did look to be clean.
This is a really nice campsite. The location is great as you can walk in to millau to eat/explore. We stayed for a few days before moving on to another campsite on the coast. There was lots to do in the area to keep you busy for a few days. Some of the nicest accommodation we have stayed - the mobile home/chalets looked and felt very new and the beds were the most comfortable we have used. Staff were super helpful and kindly engaged in English once my limited french was exhausted. Only slight downside is the size of the pool which is quite small.
Very happy with our stay. Some things can be a bit better, like: Better Hot water systems in the sanitation to do the dishes and have a reliable hot shower. We wish toilet seats in the toilets and a (pick up) fast food restaurant were you don't have to order a day or a minimum of 2 hours upfront.
Nice camping and clean sanitaire. But may be a little too big for us. Our kids of 19 and 21 found the first week boring because of the lack of others kids of 18+ age. But the youth should go to the Golf café which is a 15 min walk from the camping. There is no hang out place for them on the camping later at night.
A very nice campingsite for families. Great for kids 0-18 they will find other kids to play with within minutes. When you go by caravan look well at the pitch size. 80m2 is quite small but just sufficient. You'll have to book in time else it's full. Very friendly staff. There is a shop at the campingsite which has fresh baken bread every morning.
