Latest reviews for CAMPING MARMOTEL
We stayed here on a road trip from London to Menorca in Spain. The location is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. A proper old french town. The lady at the check in desk was very friendly too. We was going to stay again on the return trip but a change of route meant we couldn't.
Amazing location on the River. Reception stayed open for 90 minutes until we arrived. Pitch includes private shower and toilet etc. Town very old world French. Only downside is roads to here are very very steep and narrow (first gear hairpins in a Motorhome). Would recommend to anyone !!
Spent 7 nights in a tent here for the last week in August. Positives - private bathroom, 10x10m flat shady pitch, swimming pool, moules & frites (Thursday night special), not very busy as French kids back at school, local town & river running past campsite, supermarket within 500m, helpful staff, nice region with beautiful scenery. Negatives - noise. In order to keep the campers entertained, the site puts on a lot of activities (quite like a holiday camp), which you can hear across the site courtesy of the PA system. We changed the pitch that was allocated to us to get as far away as possible even though we ended up close to a road that had moderate traffic.
Lovely location, friendly staff and great facilities. Entertainment fantastic for all ages. Love the private toilet and washing facilities on the pitch, especially with a family. Thank you Magdelina and Joel, Mark and Pierre for another enjoyable holiday, from the Millers.
Lovely, what a nice site, what a great village. A feast for the eyes. Individual toilet/shower at each pitch - very nice. Quiet spot.
