Excellent campsite, welcoming environment!
Lovely well run site by amazing manager and staff. Madame is absolutely fantastic (owner). Ablutions are clean and cleaned regularly. We spent nearly 3 weeks on site. The on site restaurant & bar serves really nice food. The area is beautiful and full of historical interest. With still plenty more to see. The pool is a nice on site amenity, and a great cooling of place. The local DJ, Paco or however you spell it. He could definitely do with more CD`s. He seems to play a lot of Euro Pop stuff ? Me being a Rocker defiantly not my type of music. Each plot is nicely divided by vegetation and the trees give welcoming shade. Other caravaners on site have all been really nice and always acknowledge when they see you. We were there when the world cup final was on, what an amazing atmosphere on site. Overall the site is fantastic and a nice gem of a place. Nice walk into the village, which is lovely. Close to all shops, Super U is brilliant (like a ASDA, Tesco chain) I fell in love with France back in the early 90`s, and this visit has only confirmed how I love the place. Well done to Madame and her staff for an excellent extremely welcoming stay and fantastic site. Love from Andy (George) & Senga.
Large and actually nice camping with lots of trees and a pool. But bathroom facilities were bad, not even a toilet seat.
What a lovely place to spend a holiday. Friendly helpful staff, fun evening activities depending on the season. The facilities are basic and clean; the site is well laid out. Not too far from the beach, close to supermarkets. The village of Aimargues across the road is interesting to walk round and has a market twice a week. Visit Nimes on the train only 1 euro each way - a bargain.
This a layed back easy going site 10mins stroll from the nearest village. The nearby walks are beautiful and smothered with all varieties of wild flowers, making perfect settings for the many white carmargue horses. The pool was clean and simple as was the kiddies pool alongside. And it's well fenced in for kiddies safety (should they go roaming unescorted). There is a small play area which our toddlers enjoyed although the groundwork is rough. No great problem, we're just used to smooth H and S safety approved stuff. Bus stop and tiny rail station nearby. One thing I should mention. Our accomodation was sweet but although the befroom had plenty of storage we only had about 35cms each side of the bed. Also all internal doorways are very narrow and some larger persons may have a problem. We greatly enjoyed our time here and thoroughly recommend it for a natural, unwinding break and are returning later this year.
