Arrived lateish one evening to find reception shut and no one spoke any English despite me having enquired in english if they had spaces that evening. Figured it all out though and they were polite.Ate in the resturant and got Pizzas and didnt eat at the bar again for dinner... Cutley bent easily and Pizza was a bit underwhelming. Then an fairly drunk obnoxious, horrible, rude, lone traveler at the bar got significantly more drunk and the locals of the site eventually had enough and a mini bar fight broke out, he hounded them, me and my female friend and after initally offering us help translating he followed it up straight away with a direct insult about a disability and disfigurement I have... In the end it was all handled, but by the end of our first evening our first impression was not fantastic to say the least... However come morning the next day our impressions quickly changed. A bad first start but come a new day brought new good feelings.Got speaking to other campers next day and the night befores disaster was soon revelaed to be a total one off. Which I totally understood, they cant really control how people will act after all, but I confess perhaps they should have stopped serving him...?Reception opened up and slight language barrier, but very patient staff and helpful beyond belief. Many thanks. Bar/kitchen staff didnt speak any English really, but again very patient and we made good friends with Papilolo by the end of our stay inparicular and he was every so lovley. Big shout out.First campsite we had that supplied toilet roll! WOOP and sanitary places were kept clean (minus some spit balls done by kids on the roof of the toilet block... really they should be removed...).Showers were a bit underwhelming pressure wise and if busy went hot and cold...Washing machines think were €1.No free wifi which with the language barrier and annoying Brexit meant we relied upon roaming costs to use internet for translators, general trip planning etc... Its really hit and miss if campsites offer wifi? Wifi at the bar woulda been good at least...Campsite pitches were not grass laid, but kinda soft mud, grass and stone, but was private and large. Some had additonal man made shade too.Electricity cost more, but we were allowed to charge phones ect at the bar and the staff kept an eye on them if we went out. Many thanks again Papilolo and staff! Both pools were spotless and large aswell as bar. However they need to remove the broken sunloungers as they gave me some awful nips on my legs and bum and cuts!!!! They had new ones too, but the old ones need totally removed as they are frankly dangerous. Pool isnt heated and since we arrives after the heatwave we found it too cold to use.Great ping pong and game facilities. Wasnt clear we had to ask at recption for the equitment initially, we had assumed the bar as its right next door to these things. You can walk into the local village for food or go swimming in the local rivers. Tops 20 min walk depending how deep into the village you go. Kayaking to Pont du Gard available right at the access to the campsite. Woulda been nice if this was left open as late as the car barrier (11pm) for folk walking into the village but instead its shut for i think it was 7pm and meant a fairly big detour on foot out the front of the site.Im a very, very light sleeper and the flag poles in the wind, local houses with ocassionaly howling dogs and road could be noisy. Im used to a very quiet home life however, but i needed earplugs to sleep. Be warned light sleepers. Overall it was pretty quiet though and it was a very relaxed site. No cheesy music!Despite the various pros and cons overall we really enjoyed this campsite, in better weather it woulda been a dream. We intended to only stay a night, but stayed i think it was 6. It was a good spot for lots of local things to do. Everything was within an hour we fancied doing. Uzés is worth a visit!^_^

Cons: There is no soap at the toilet block and there are no litter bins in the toilet. Very uncomfortable for women during their monthly period. The pool water was a bit cold.Pros: There are enough sunbeds at the pool which is great, and the 'beach' down by the river is nice too (5 minute walk). The shade cloth above the campsite pitch is really nice. Location over all is great!! Near Pont du Gard and near a big Lidl supermarket.

Nice camping, great location. Lady at reception not very friendly. We really missed the air-conditioning in the mobil-home. With these temperatures we had bad nights. We recommand to install them because the climat is changing. And paying so much money for WiFi is outdated. WiFi should be free nowadays!Another tip: deck chairs at the mobil-home, eventually for rent.

What a find! Nicely laid out and level pitches. The pool and bar have stunning views of the mountains and valley including the river and bridges below. Lots of Canoe hire companies just down the hill and as long as you don't mind a steepish walk you have direct access to the river which is perfect for swimming. Enjoyed Moules Frites here twice - definitely in the top 10 I've ever had! Happy hour at the bar is a very social event.

If you are trying to get a quite and calm place to stay this is definitely not the camping you are looking for. Loud music at the local bar after 11 PM! Impossible to get away from it. We were far away and impossible to sleep with party going on (during the COVID pandemic) ... dirty (very dirty) toilets, and the reception people will send you away when you try to get the energy they promised and you have booked. So definitely not a recommendation and not a nice place to be. Very disappointed!
