CAMPING PARADIS LES AMARINES

One of the nicest sites we have stayed at in a long time. We visited the day before to see if we would like the site and was given such a warm and friendly welcome by the lady host that we returned the following day for our stay. The site is immaculately kept with constant upkeep of the grass areas and pitches and the sanitary facilities were regularly cleaned. The pitches are spacious and with ACSI you can chose any apart from the largest (absolutely huge and I think only €24 early season). There is a good selection of sunny and shady pitches. We have a large twin axle and pitched up with plenty of space for sun canopy, car and room to spare. The site has direct and private access to the river and the local village is an easy 0.5 mile walk where you’ll find a small but authentic market on a Wednesday selling some fabulous local produce. For everything else you need the Intermarche is a 10 minute walk from the site. We’d hoped to stay longer but unfortunately the “Mistral” winds picked up and we decided to head off in search of a more settled forecast. We would definitely return if in the area again and would highly recommend the site.

Personally for me it is the perfect campingsite. I have been here for more then 20 years. A few years we had other destinations. Plan to return here some more times. A river to cool down with the dogs, a pool to cool down without the dogs. A bar and simple but good restaurantservice. Fine mobile homes with enough space. And of course good and friendly service.

Superb friendly campsite. So welcoming, everything is so well organised. Lovely location on the river Ceze, and within easy walking distance of Goudargues, such a good little town with lots of restaurants. Lots of tree shade everywhere on the campsite and attractive flowering shrubs.

Clean, simple, somewhat outdated and dusty, nice river for small kids. Owners are weird, very picky on rules, not customer friendly. We had a bizarre discussion right before leaving the campsite which left a bitter taste.
