This is a beautiful campsite just outside the Cevennes, with gorgeous views of the hills. We camped here in a tent for four nights and had a wonderful time. The pitches are large and spread out so you don’t feel too packed in next to other campers, and there is a bit of shade in most of them (some were fully in the orchard if you don’t want any sun). The toilets, showers, washing machine and washing up area all felt up to date and sanitary. The pool on site offers an excellent way to cool down when it gets hot. The owner is very friendly and despite having an injured foot when we visited, did her utmost to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We don’t have children, but the small playground and pool were very much enjoyed by the children of other campers. We’d definitely come back again in future for a holiday near the Cevennes!
What a find! Lovely peaceful site run by a nice friendly family who are only to willing to advise on places to visit. We booked for 2 weeks in June 2017 but ended up staying for 4 weeks as my wife and I fell in love with the place. The site is basic but that's it's charm! but kept clean and tidy, and the toilets and showers are meticulously kept clean. The pool was welcome as temperature reached 40 degrees during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil campsite with wonderful views. If we visit this area again in the future! we would return to this site.
We stayed on the camp site. Extremely clean and tidy site including the toilets, showers, pool and washing areas.Camping pitches have been created to ensure more comfort whilst still maintaining the natural ground.Wonderful views on site of the surrounding area to the north and east. The owners are very friendly and speak fluent English, offering advice and knowledge of the surrounding area to maximise your enjoyment of the area.A few games for the kids in the site office.Would definitely visit this camp site again without any hesitation.Local amenities are a 5 min drive away selling everything you might need.
Incredibly friendly family owned campsite. Very spacious pitches. Spotlessly clean and well maintained facilities. Brilliant views of the surrounding countryside. The pool was opened during our stay and was also immaculately clean and refreshing! My Mum stayed in the B&B and said the room was excellent value and very comfortable. Great location for exploring the local area e.g. Uzes, Anduze, Gardon gorges, etc.
When you drive through the town, towards the campingside, you might think "this can't be it". But just before you round the last corner, you go "wauw! And that wauw-feeling remains the the rest of your stay.Sophie is the living prove of hospitality and her mother is adorable. Together they run a campingside that is well kept, as well as the surroundings as the 'wet groups" (very clean) and the swimmingpool.Marvellous scenery from the pitches which are truly spacious.A small play-ground and of course a petange-field complete it all.Ah, no, what does complete it, is the backery in the morning. When you search for a quiet place to camp, stars and silance at night, this is it.
