Latest reviews for CAMPING LA FORÊT
We stayed here last week for the sixth time in 8 years and it was again fantastic. Lots of space and shade, well maintained, very friendly owner, bread service, small shop for essentials and very nice crepe restaurant in the evening. The camping is very quiet and you can go for a swim to the camping pool or to the river, a 10 minutes walk from the camping. For hiking and cycling it is the perfect place to start from. We will definitely come back again.
Incredibly beautiful campground right in the forest, with everything you wish for. Bread service with delicious pastries, a big pool, clean facilities, great big shaded spots for your tent. But the best part is the staff who run the campground. So kind, helpful and friendly, they make the place a real little paradise. Thank you! We will come back :)
Third time this year visiting La Forét. Absolutely fantastic place if you want to have tons of space for yourself, relaxed atmosphere and stunning surroundings. The camping in run superbly, the crepe restaurant is delicious with great service and they have a splendid viognier in house.
Wonderful campground! Very peaceful and very friendly owners. If you are interested in hiking, visiting the beautiful river, relaxing in a hammock while enjoying a good book, this is the place to be. If you want entertainment, music and theater this is not the campground for you. Thank you, merci, we had a great time disconnected from the world.
I found it difficult to relax on this site. There was constant road noise and I felt a bit hemmed in.We had a holiday chalet on one side of the hedge (situated on an adjoining campsite) and half a dozen windows of a static caravan looking down on us from the other. The pitch felt tight and the entire site felt hemmed in.The holiday chalet was occupied by an elderly lady who had the tv on at a loud volume all day. Nothing that the campsite could have done about this but with French tv competing with the traffic, it was difficult to relax. So if you are looking for a place to relax, this might not be the right place for you. We cycled out to Camping La Paree Chalon. Try that place we walked around it. Very peaceful, close to the beach and lots of space.
