CAMPING CHANTECLER

A great campsite. The lady who booked us in supplied beer to us weary motorcyclists and found us a place to set our tents even though we had mistakenly booked the wrong chantecler campsite.The toilet/shower block was clean and the tent pitch was level and spacious.I would recommend this campsite 100%

The camping places were spacious and the surrounding was nice. However, the personnel was not very friendly. At first we were put on a spot with rotting fruits with lots of insects, and changing the spot seemed very complicated to the owner, even though half of the campsite was empty. We had to make an effort to make sure we got a spot in the shade. Furthermore, the sanitary was not really clean, it did not look like it was cleaned regularly. Also we found several ticks on us, so you should look out for this. We would not necessarily recommend this camping site.

There's nothing too wrong with the place, but I didn't like it. Maybe the lukewarm showers, maybe the feeling of being ripped off having to pay for Wi-Fi only accessible by the reception area. The campsite is clean, pitches decent, toilets spotless. Owners polite. There is a communal tent with TV, play areas, probably the biggest pitches in the locale.Great site to access classic cycling climbs.Just didn't do it for me, but because I can't put my finger on it I would suggest you try it

Cyclists: You'll find plenty of green space and trees here, including areas away from the noisy creek. Table near entry (for cooking and eating), clean facilities, hot showers, toilet seats.

This is a simple but cosy camping! You can use their Bbq and they have picknicktables and a meeting point (inside a big tent). Prices are ok.
