SITES & PAYSAGES LE MOULIN

It was the worst camp we stayed in so far. It does NOT deserve 4 stars. I don’t normally write reviews but this camp deserves bad one. We stayed 5 nights in this camp and when we arrived we settled in the chalet. The air conditioning did not work and it wasn’t explained in the instructions that we also have to lift switch for air conditioning in the electricity board, the chalet was dark, not enough lights (we had to use our lantern to cook) and work on our laptops outside as we could not see. The chalet was very smelly, old and it was not cleaned properly. The smell from the pipes was terrible, we had to keep windows opened all the time. The water was cold, only one person could have shower for maximum 5 minutes and then it would be cold, waiting another 2 hours for second person to have shower - very quick shower. The worst part of all was that the management did not let us know there would be wedding party in the main house in the first night. We travel with two cats, we were outside walking the cats when the party started fireworks, very loud, we got shocked and mostly our cats got crazy super scared, we almost lost them in the woods that night because of incompetence and negligence from the camping management. One of our cats has heart condition and she is on the medication, any stress can kill her and this incident almost killed her, she is not the same anymore. Anyone reading this with pets should be careful. We will never return to this place for sure…

The site is probably OK in season, but there is constant noise from the site preparations, grass cutting, chain saws, leaf burning. We were sold tokens for the laundry only to find the laundry was in constant use by the staff. The pool was packed with non residents. You take your life in your hands walking into town as the cars travel really fast down the single track approach to the campsite and barely slow down as they enter. The staff cars seem to be the worst. On arrival, the reception staff were helpful, if a little miserable, but one member of staff was particularly rude to my wife as she waited outside with our dog. I certainly don't feel we got value for money and would not recommend the site.

Great place to stay with family.Good sized pitches, we were in our campervan andcstayed for 4 nights.Big pool with flumes, big bouncy castle and childrens play area.Nice bar setting with friendly and helpful staff throughout and different foidctrucks in tge evenings.Access to the river for short walks with or without pets. We had our Lab withbusxand he loved itLots of additional entertainment and activities and lots of info on nearby attractions.

Last year we had a wonderful weeks holiday and loved it so much we've booked again for this year. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant was amazing and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. Dogs were more than welcome and the facilities for them were marvellous. Such a happy site and would recommend a visit.

We had an exellent stay at this camping.All of the staff delivered hotel standard....they were great. This camping delivered more than we expected,and can highly recomend this place ,for not just familys but also for people traveling without children.The toilett facilitys was super,clean and chip shape👍
