Latest reviews for CAMPING LE MONLÔO
Great little campsite with excellent facilities for the price. Lovely lagoon to cool off after a hot day in the mountains. Friendly staff at the bar who allowed us to watch the Euro's on TV.Only downside is that there isn't many water points.
Lovely campsite on the edge of Bagneres-de-Bigorre, it’s about a 25min walk into town. When we were here in late May the restaurant, pool, shop etc… were all closed and would not open until 15th June. There were also only 2 out of the 4 toilet/shower blocks open. When everything would be open this would be a great campsite, but it was pretty remote when we were there. The town is wonderful and has everything you would need. From lovely restaurants to a Spa. When the clouds clear you get a beautiful view of the Pic du Midi mountain.
Our mobile home was a little old/worn out, but for the rest it was OK. The coffee cups and glasses are very small, so we used our own stuff. The lagune was fantastic, kids and parents loved it.
Stayed on a nice large grass pitch with plenty of room for 7m caravan and awning. Top points: Nice shade from trees on pitch boundaries. Swimming lagoon was lovely for cooling off and relaxing in deckchairs under the umbrellas in what was boiling hot weather. A little bit of sandy beach in the mountains. Free Wi-Fi. Very nice staff including Pauline at reception who speaks good English as well as French and was helpful with ideas and information on activities. Nice small restaurant with small menu but good food and service. Bakery delivers to receptionTo note: the campsite is out of town but there is a free shuttle bus
Nice site with clean washrooms etcCovered indoor pool was very good and for me a little warm.Staff were nice and helpfull. The bar/resaurant opened for food a little late 19.15pm
