CAMPING À L'OMBRE DES TILLEULS

Hi I stayed at this caravan park so I could do a pilgrimage to our blessed lady I visited the town centre after breakfast until at least 5pm daily praying for special attentions I came to Lourdes a lot of times but stayed in hotels which I had a lovely experience me and my family are from the traveler community I speak on anybody else’s manners respect ect only for myself and my family which we have the height of it I am traumatised for the way myself and my family were treated we had no human rights and were treated like animals on one occasion my daughter deeped her feet into the pool and a person at the pool asked for her not to do it I apologised and straight away gave out tk my daughter and told her to go and sit down this man was speaking in French which I don’t understand but with hand gestures and expressions I understood the main problem then he left and came back with the red hair woman who I’d the owner of the site she started screaming at myself and my children get out of here u can have ur money back leave ye don’t have respect and so on I was so embarrassed I found out the problem was my daughter had sliders on in the pool area and u are not allowed inside the gate with them on it was a misunderstanding myself and my family took our bags and left I asked for my passport back and if she needed photo copy she could as I had payed her in full I was refused she told me when my caravan was off the site she wouldnGive it back she told me that people from my culture came here before we don’t have respect I was never in this camping site in my life or any member of my family that is just one story I was intimidated told us she was getting her husband for us who is a huge man and was very imbarrest and was over charged for our stay and not included in any of the activities my children and I were so left out horrible experience will never forget it 💔

Super camping! Lovely staff, they are more like friends and not the 'boss's the camping, you are warmly welcomed . The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Great food and nice 'animations' for children and adults too. Must go back!

Lovely quiet site, in may, the people at reception could could not be any more helpful
