The camping pitches were poor the facilities were good,but unfortunately the experience fell below expectations.

Family owned and run campsite approx 1 km from Fontes. A 50/50 mix of mobile homes and pitches. Neat and tidy. The pitches are all fairly level, even those at the top of the hill - but hedging can make entry and exit to those a little awkward even for a short moho like ours - 5.99m.Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the start of the season so could not try restaurant etc.Sanitary block was clean and whilst not warm, was not cold either. Showers could have been much hotter.Moho service point next to sanitary block.A lot of fire equipment around site suggests they experience or are ready for bush fires or similar. Has been very dry in the area for a long time so streams and river were low or dry.Caveau in Fontes worth the walk for a tasting. Some award winning wines available.Part of 'Relais Motards' umbrella which welcomes bikers so I may be back with my mates for a tour round the lovely twisty roads close by - promoted by the regional tourist board.

Never actually stayed there but go there just for aperos on a Sunday sometimes. Family run. Friendly. Guests seem to be happy. Good restaurant. Lovely pool.

Booked for 1 night arrived at 8.30pm after working for 15 hrs and couldn't find reservation told us to go 20 km to next town.They could not give a sh#t.Never again
