CAMPING LES CLAIRETTES

As regular customers of the campsite restaurant for several years, we have appreciated in the past the perfectly cooked generous rib steaks and the friendly mussels and chips evenings... A very pleasant surprise this year, the restaurant part of the campsite has been completely renovated with the same chef in the kitchen! The result: an air-conditioned and bright room, a pretty terrace and an improved menu with fresh and quality products! We enjoyed ourselves like never before. The service is fast, the dishes simple and delicious in a friendly and family atmosphere. That day on the menu: Black Angus, bavette, bull, salmon and tuna... Bill for 2 for less than €50. I highly recommend!

Very surprised by this campsite which has 3 stars: quite unpleasant welcome, a simple hello snatched, you owe me so much for the reservation, a map of the site, a magnetic card for the gate, the key to the "castle" on a really dirty key ring and... that's it.No explanations, in:out inventory (and for good reason...), no invoice, the allocated "mobile home", of another age, would have to be renovated or scrapped... really!.Campsite which lacks maintenance, impression of abandonment undoubtedly justified by the work on the new reception and restaurant (which really needs it) but which will obviously stand out compared to the rest..Hedges and untrimmed and sparse vegetation, carriageway lined with holes, muddy site in the rain, very outdated garbage "room", swimming pool with the gentle sound of toads at night... magical!In short, Les Clairettes are not worth 1 star.To prefer the other campsite in Fontès, a real 4 star slightly more expensive but oh so pleasant, pleasant, clean, well thought out.We visited it and will stay there next month.It's a job...----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It should be noted that in quite a few campsites the barriers are closed until 11:00 p.m. This allows travelers to enjoy the surroundings, festivities and more, more and for longer.- It should be noted that when we returned at 10:30 p.m., some kids were screaming on the trampoline in the poor playground. They actually ran out of the campsite when we arrived...Where was the tranquility of the site?It is true that only a few residents populated this campsite...- We chose a quick departure, because we were very disappointed with our stay: we did not want any further disappointments.- This type of bungalow, more than 20 years old, is either to be renovated or we are rewriting it to be scrapped, but certainly not to be rented. Let's stay consistent!- The roads do not deteriorate in a few days...- vegetation does not grow overnight... these old hedges, also more than 20 years old, are no longer adequate at all.Yours truly.

Beautiful campsite, undergoing renovations during our stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff, I recommend it.

Près de l'A75 mais suffisamment à l'écart pour ne pas en subir le bruit. Emplacements bien délimités par des haies mais le sol herbeux et boueux doit poser des problèmes pour les camping-car par temps pluvieux. Les sanitaires sont bien isolés et Parfaitement entretenu, il faut le souligner. C'est une bonne adresse.
