CAMPING LE GRILLON DES MERS

The campsite is just 3 minutes walk down a traffic free lane to the lovely sandy beach, with the sea mainly being very calm and shallow so perfect for swimming or wading ( not so good for surfers). For those that prefer an all over tan, the naturist beach is just a few minutes walk further along the beach ( so I was informed !). The campsite has excellent clean facilities, despite being full I never had to wait to use sink, toilet, shower etc. The owner is very friendly, and being a traveller herself, is very tuned in to your needs as a tourist and is very organized while being quite laid back and always happy to help.

This is more a residential campsite. But there are some spots. In peak season you must book.If you are a cyclist, they keep a place for 1 or 2 cycle tourers.The staff are helpful and friendly.It's not far to the beach and the water is crystal clear.

The campsite itself is so-so, but the receptionist is very nice and the location is great, just a short walk from the beach. It's also a pretty quiet place, calm and great to relax. The hot showers were broken so they opened a mobile home for showering, and that wasn't very clean. But for 15€ a night, it was a simple and nice campsite with a very friendly vibe.

The beach is nice even in Octobre fun to swim in the mare, the des was rough but so much fun and pleasently warm and Clean water. Unfortunately No fresh water available for a shower

Place is kept clean, offers plenty of things to do as well. Only complain is the location, because of this the prices in local restaurants and bars are extremely high compared to normal prices. Also, the french being the typical french and hating people who don't speak the language.
