CAMPING KOAWA BEAU RIVAGE

Location, location This site always scores because of where it is. The view over the Bassin is superb. However, it is starting to feel a little tired: I never saw the bar open, and the roadways did not cope well with the heavy rain. Since my last visit, more mobiles have been added; it now feels that the touring section is embattled. I was struck by how few tourers were on site! I assume because of the weather. Oh, and no ACSI either!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this campsite in May and loved it. The 2 members of staff who made us so welcome were Sarah and Florent, both kind and welcoming and helpful at the bar/restaurant area on site. Thanks to them both for making us feel valued visitors here.

We spent a week here during UK May-June half term. The campsite is very close (walking distance) to a big supermarket, close to Meze town and also the beach. Kids loved the swimming pool. The chalets have everything you need and there is lots of vegetation around, which is very pleasant and gives good privacy. Staff could not be more helpful. We hope to be back next year!

Caution ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Do not book with this Company. When this was owned by the town this was a lovely campsite. It has been owned by Koawa for around 3 years and the standards have gone. No customer service at all. Tried to claim back my refund as the camping places for tents around the edge of the camp site with sea views are all gone, replaced by mobile homes. Instead of a refund they are telling me to claim on insurance instead of them giving me a refund with 6 months notice of cancellation. Use this company with caution.⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

Is you go to this camping, you might have to share it with another family because they overbook the same space on purpose. We had to share the space with another family that was already there for a week. In that same week, they already had to share their space with 2 other family's. We had to put our tent on where cars normally drive, other cars could not go out. For safety reasons this can be dangerous. At the reception they don't help, they tell you to call customer care. At customer call they can not help you and they ask you to send an email. The after care is bad.
