Latest reviews for TOHAPI PALAVAS CAMPING
Campsite was quiet when we visited but the entertainment was amazing, also food on site was delicious. Yassin who worked at the restaurant bar was very nice and welcoming! Thank you!
We’ve just camped here in our large tent here for 3 weeks so feel we can make a considered review. The location is stunning and access to the beach is fabulous. The beach wasn’t too crowded and a pleasant place to be. You can walk into Palavas easily. The reception staff were helpful especially after giving us a beach pitch without realising you can’t pitch a large tent in sand. We were relocated to an inland pitch and electricity was organised. If you are camping bring your own shade and pegs for stones or sand! The shop is ok, the pool is ok but busy, use the sea it’s much better! Entertainment if you like that thing is not great and not engaging for small children. This could be so much better, mini disco for 15 minutes and starting late every day.The worse thing is the state of the toilets and showers they are not cleaned regularly and to be honest not at all well. Soap is not refilled and paper often lacking.I don’t blame the cleaners but the people who manage them as there is clearly no checking. The 4 stars were awArded in 2018 and last 5 years. With some little improvements it could be but at the moment it isn’t.The Tohapi song…..To - To - To - HapiiiiiiClean - the -toilets - please!
We were lucky enough to have a cabin overlooking the sea but further back they are crammed in like sardines. Our cabin was brand new and had a few faults which with repeated complaining did get fixed within 48hrs. The staff are friendly and helpful but overwhelmed with the size of the place so it feels disorganized and things are slow moving if you have a problem. The beach is the real plus and the on site shop. Avoid June, the camp was over run by loud, noisy gypsies who had a total disregard for the rules and zoomed around on scooters and mopeds all day and took over the pool and were loud 24/7. Apparently it's an annual occurrence but by July the camp is quiet again. It's definetly not worth it's star rating but it's location and if you get a cabin in a position you like, it's worth a visit.
I stayed in a tent for 5 people, ita really good but I think more sanitary places , and if it gets cleaned more often will make it a more pleasant experience. The pool is nice, good temperature, clean. The restaurant on the camping is minimalistic, but pretty good. The store is good for first purchases
Good location and beautiful areas around outside the camping ...The camping itself i was staying in the mobil-home was good but is too hot ...we can't even seat on the terrace as there were no shadow around ...no high trees and the umbrella was malfunction ...
