CAMPING SANDAYA ALOHA

Excellent campsite for all the family. Great pools, direct beach access, and choice of bars. Lovely towns to visit in the area too

A nice camping, situated right next to the beach with small waterpark and heated swimming pool. Accommodation was ok but rudimentary, the private shower inside the house was small and the Toilet was very small, a child size but you can also use the public Toilet if you dont mind waiting in line. When you book make sure that you add the extra charge for cleaning witch is ~79 euro ( we didn’t know we were supposed to do that as we were never in France in holiday and as it seems here is normal to make your own cleaning witch makes you wonder if the accommodation was actually clean before you came in). We have stayed for 10 nights, 2 adults and 2 children. For the children it was very nice, lots of new friends and a lot of play time. For the Adults- entertainment almost 90% in French although there were a lot of tourists from Germany and other countries. Some days the entertainment program was not provided and in the days when provided it was until 22:00. We went to the nearby camping witch has an amazing program and it ended at 23:00. Beer at the bar was 7 euro and one Greenberger 9 euro, so you better buy your beer from Carrefour before arriving in camping. The food was ok if you dont want to go to far away. Overall we had a good time, we might came back, maybe the staff will understand that they also need to care for the other customers that are not French, the entertainment Program needs improvement, maybe take some notes from the camping nearby - also the kids Club witch is 100 % just for French children at the moment. Reception staff - overall unfriendly ( towards us - non French customers) Bar staff - some of them - thank you for your hospitality, specially to the bartender who help me get information how I can buy cigarettes even if it was really late but he made time and even if he couldn’t speak English he found a way to help me.

It is nice. If I read 5 stars then normally I expext highest standards in all dimensions. Though this is not given here; which is why I gave 3 instead of 5 Points. If the campside would have been promoted with 3 instead of 5 stars, I would have given 5 out of 5 since then my expextations would have been lower. Positive is that there is lots of possibilities for families and children! It is also Close by the beach and has a very nice waterpark. Negative is that the quality of the whole campside is not what I would expect. The WCs and showers are Not very tidy; the Pitches for the Caravans Look a little bit neglected as are the walkways. So in summary: nice campside with Lots of possibilities but the quality is not 5 stars.

Every year we are at this place at least once, sometimes later in autumn before they close down...its always wonderful to stay in one of the cottages.

We all had a wonderful holiday. Right beside beach. 2 swimming pools. Shop was marvellous. Night entertainment is brilliant but you need to know French. Some shows could be in English. Disappointed that the bar where shows were only sold beer. You want wine or cocktails u had to go upstairs to restaurant and come back down with a paper cup. Not much entertainment for children over 10 who dont want to do camps. Great for younger kids. Very safe place. Mosquitoes big time. Peaceful.
