We were very lucky with the placement and style of our mobile home (Kim top presta 6) as it seemed very new, overlooked the beach dunes, was next to the little children's playpark/cabin and had a 3sided barrier so with a 1yr old we could easily block off the stairs with the washing dryer and not many cars going past. If it had been completely open like many in the middle section of the campsite it would have been a LOT more difficult. When we arrived the reception was very busy with arrivals (park outside the campsite gates when you arrive as the few spaces in front of the reception get very busy!) and we were told our mobile home was not yet ready (at half 4). They would call us but we got the wristbands and could use the campsite facilities (on the following weekend we saw a few families where they had evidently dug through their cases to find the kids swimming stuff and had changed them but the parents were still fully dressed around the pool with phones in hand waiting for that call). We went to the bouncy castles and playpark as nothing was easily accessible in our car. An hour later (with a 1yr old and 4yr old) we got the call and went back to the reception (another 10minute wait) with the kids thoroughly fed up and hot by this point to have a couple try and push their way in front of us!Unfortunately we saw few instances of incivility with other people (children completely unaccompanied, cigarette butts on the playground, go cart track etc - great with a crawling baby who became a litter picker for the week!)The pool we never had any issues finding a chair (no sunloungers!) which is rare in campsites and hotels! Our 4yr old was a little scared of the slides but was thrilled with the pirate ship and the other water features. A little difficult with the 1yr old as the depth of the pool was too deep the crawl but not deep enough to efficiently use his swim ring (he was able to easily climb out). The only evening activity we really did was the foam party with the 4yr old which he LOVED. The Koh-Lanta inflatable on the main pool was chaotic, 30minutes of queue in the hot sun for 2minutes on the inflatable and ATTENTION on the slide at the end, the pool is only 1m20 deep and my ankle was sore for a few days after from the sole of my foot slamming on the pool floor after coming down the slide.Pushchairs are allowed into the pool area which was a necessity for naptimes! We also tried the kids club but after dropping my child off I kept watch nearby and sat at the inflatables and saw the other children had obviously already made their friends and he was excluded just left to the side for a bit. He wasn't happy and we ended up taking him back after 30minutes. "We wanted to call you but we didn't have your number". They hadn't asked for it when we dropped him off so....I think and assume a lot of kids are left there on the Monday and they do the whole week of activities. We did lots of days trips so we didn't try it until later in the week. As a childcare worker I found it to be very....basic. No checking of any medical issues, if he had water with him or asking for our number on the first day. Most of the children were older so I'm not sure how used they are to slightly shy 4 year olds.I think completely the location of the mobile home and the style can make or break the vacation from the start though! This was our first ever vacation with Clico Chic/Capfun so have nothing to directly compare it to.

I normally do not post reviews but for this camping I like to make an exception because I really don't understand the low ratings of some people. We went there for 2 weeks at end of July and we had a really great time with 2 children of 1,5 and +- 4 years. Very cosy camping with lots to do for the children in my opinion: Bouncy castle, playground, football/basketball ground, walking route with animal statuettes among the cabins,... The pool was great, kids loved it, and it was very clean, despite what other people say. Every morning before opening hours, 2-3 people were busy thoroughly cleaning the pool and I have never seen any dirt, garbage, etc. laying around. Concerning the 'directly at beach': A 30 second search on Google Maps in advance clearly shows that it is a 10min walk so people shouldn't be surprised. Concerning the animation team, bar staff and other staff, there is nothing negative to be said. All were very friendly and helpful. Parking was not an issue, places enough to park your car and very little traffic on site so that was great as well. Probably some other thing I am forgetting but all in all we had a great holiday. The only reason I don't give a 5 star rating is because nothing is perfect. :)

We spent a week in a "mobil-home". The children had a great time in the swimming pools, and the direct access to the beach is a real advantage. The mobil-home was not super clean but it was clearly almost new with air conditioning, and very convenient, except for the steps at the entrance which made it a bit difficult to access. The car park was right behind our accomodation. The people working there were also very nice and helpful. I would recommend the place for families. Indeed, many activities were organised for children and teens and families. The only true negative point was the restaurant which serves bad food, and needs to be managed a bit more efficiently: we waited a very long time. Plus, it is supposed to supply bread and croissants in the morning but depending on the moment you arrive you cannot get any.Nice stay.
