CAMPING SANDAYA LES VAGUES

We only received the cottage at 7 PM despite our arrival at 4 PM. We had to change the cottage because it did not look like the one we had booked. The Robinson cottages were dirty and poorly cleaned. Inside, there was a lot of old food under the sofas, around which hundreds of ants had gathered. The bathroom was very dirty. The reception was friendly, but as soon as we went to change the cottage, the lady at the reception became rude towards us. The pools were heavily chlorinated, to the extent that all the swimsuits became faded. One of the children developed a rash. In the evenings, there was nothing to do; the entertainment was poorly organized. The playgrounds were terrible. At the end of May, there were a lot of mosquitoes. 3 stars for good localisation not far to the beach.

Campsite was nice but we were disappointed with our accommodation when we arrived. Missing a BBQ for 3 nights which was supposed to be included. Outside terrace area was a mess and dirty when we arrived and asked to have it cleaned which was done 2 days later! On 4th day, maintenance team turned up whilst we were having lunch and were making a lot of noise on our terrace putting the wooden table together that should have been there from the start, instead of the small, ugly plastic table that only seats 6 people (for a 10 person accommodation).

Avoid AvoidThis campsite is full of "Gents des voyage/ traveller people Gypies , Gitains ( I don't know what the correct term is )Incident 1 : Monday 10th a fight broke out between what seems to be two different groups of these "people". They were screaming, shouting throwing chairs as I walked with my young children to the pool.Incident 2: Monday 10th evening:The children of these groups are riding around the campsite on electric scooters , sometimes 3 at a time , beeping myself and my young children of the roadIncident 3: Tuesday 11th:Another argument breaks out between these groups during the day by the pool disturbing everyone, we left as my children were frightened.Incident 4: A child driving a car around the campsiteIncident 5: Friday 14th of June:A massive fight broke out between the gangs , it was violent , a window was broken , police were called.All this in the space of 4 days and this is only what we witnessed , other campers have told us other horror stories.This is not a safe place to bring children, or even just be in general, many complaints have been made nothing has be done. This is OUTRAGEOUS!Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!!!!

The best family holiday we've ever had! We want to thank all the staff at Sandaya Les Vagues for making our holiday so brilliant. As a family of five with older children/teenagers we found everything about the campsite and animations perfect for us! The staff were all wonderful - helpful, friendly, fun, kind and inclusive - especially the bar staff and those staff organising the activities and tournaments. We enjoyed all the campsite facilities and found everything clean and well tended to. The lifeguarded beach, a short walk from the campsite, was also superb. The evening entertainment was certainly on the loud and lively side, which didn't bother us at all and, at exactly 11.30pm, everything stopped and the campsite went silent! Discreet and professional security staff meant that we always felt safe, including overnight when the gates to the campsite were closed. Thank you for everything!

Great location! English speaking staff with a warm welcome. Excellent facilities and easy access to the beach
