CAMPING SANDAYA DOMAINE DE LA DRAGONNIÈRE

Beautiful location, very large with many rental units. Where we stayed at the end of the season in a premium accommodation with our family with a 3 year old child. The lagoon is a great swimming pool with beautiful blue water and a sandy beach. The adjacent swimming pool is wonderful to stay there also for small children. Indoor play area and the bouncy castle are also nice for children we thought. And the animation team including the children's disco in several languages ​​we found a big plus. The premium accommodation in which we stayed was a somewhat older accommodation with a lot of privacy! Close to all facilities, including several large supermarkets (there is a Spar on the campong itself as well as a bakery) the beach of Vias Plage or Agde can be reached (if there is no traffic jam) within 15 minutes. Highly recommended, where we would like to return.

This was our second stay at a Sandaya site and it did not disappoint. First off, this is not the place to come if you are looking for a quiet holiday with no disturbances. In the height of summer it is noisy, busy and lots of activities going on; with our children, this is exactly what we were looking for! You soon learn when the quiet times are in the various areas.We found the staff to be polite and helpful and the site itself to be very clean. We stayed in a 4* cottage which was modern and spacious.Are the on-site restaurants the best you will find the area? No. But they are ok, and we found the takeaways to be excellent.If you want to explore the local area/go to a larger supermarket, you will need a car, and I highly recommend the small town of Cers a short drive away with Le Bistrot Cersois and Pizzeria Donna-Luisa.

Returning after visiting 2 years ago. Even better the second time around. Easy booking, 2 minutes from the airport and very helpful at reception. Our accommodation catered for 5 which may be a little cramped but as there was only 2 of us it was spacious enough. Only classed as a 3* so only gave you 2 rings to cook with where most others have 4. Otherwise it was very clean and well equipped. Swimming facilites are excellent and varied with the purpose built lagoon an attractive feature. Places to eat and 3 different bars. If fitness is your thing then they have good open air exercise equipment and sports facilities. A well maintained, clean site that is nice to stroll around. There is a bus service close to the entrance but the service is limited although with good timing you can reach the local supermarket to stock up with essentials. Bus connects to Bezier and Agde where trains run in both coastal directions. Try it and see for yourself.

It's good, but it's not 5 stars as they claim. If you want nature and isolation that's not the place to go, with noise each evening and parties all around. If you're into that then it becomes ideal.
