CAMPING LE MOULIN VIEUX

We stayed in August for a week. A lovely site on the river. Access to the river for swimming or canoes. Nice pool which is a good temperature. We just had pizzas from the restaurant as we eat mainly vegetarian which we find the French do not cater for so well but the menu looked good and much better than the usual campsite food. Washblock was average by French standards, loo seats and toilet paper are very welcome to us Brits which this site has, though no soap. It's a peaceful site in the Cele Valley which is quiet and not touristy. Plenty of walking, pretty villages, and can cycle along the river on a flat road. We would recommend.

We liked it so much here that we stayed 3 nights. The owners were really friendly and kind. They had several selections of vegetarian food on the menu in the restaurant, which was a real treat after several weeks in France. Yoda the dog was also a hit.

Great relaxing site. Can canoe from or to the site. The Cele river is small and not daunting like other rivers. Owners very friendly and put on great concerts. Catch The Littles in August if you can. Good bar, food and pool. Campsite dog is fun for the kids. Campsite next to river and you can see Kingfishers zipping up and down.

Very nice and clean location, didn't stay at the camping though, but had dinner. Excellent kitchen, nice bar and very friendly owners.

We were on a motorbike tour and looking for petrol station and the accomodation becasue it was late of evening. So fortunatelly we found this wonderful camping.
