Latest reviews for CAMPING RIVIÈRE DE CABESSUT
A very friendly big but quiet family run campsite with excellent mature shady pitches. Very clean, modern and well thought out sanitary block. Campsite shop with a few basic essentials.
Within 15 minute walk of city. Facilities clean. Pleasant site with lovely trees. Pitches are a good size. Helpful staff
The campsite is well maintained; however only one toilet and shower block working when we arrived. Pitches are generous with plenty of shade. The cost per night is relatively cheap considering there are two swimming pools. The biggest negative is its distance from the town centre. The local bus stops about a km from the campsite which is ridiculous.
We stayed for 3 nights in this brilliantly located campsite. Easy flat walk into Cahors which is a beautiful city. Experienced a very interesting and calm boat trip. Staff at the site are most helpful and we would not hesitate to return to this site. Good laundry facilities and very clean sanitation block.Well organised pitch arrangements. Would welcome WI-FI throughout the campsite - even at a cost.
One of the best campsite I've been to for a while.A very warm welcome, cheerful and helpful staff. The facilities are really excellent - clean & modern loos & showers, plenty of hot water, great looking pool, bar, small shop, kids playground, dog walking area etc...The pitches are large, a choice of well shaded or sunny, grassy, and well divided by mature hedges. Also, you get a tourist info map at check-in and directions on how best to get into the town and view the sights. This is what municipal camping should be about, attracting visitors and encouraging them into the town.Congratulations to the commune on a truly excellent job!
