CAMPING L'ÉVASION

A family campsite in the middle of the forest with very good value for money in terms of free pitches (for rentals, I don't know). I just camped there for 2 weeks with my kids and we had a great vacation. The campsite is very clean, the swimming pool and the restaurant are nice and the entertainment varied. The only slightly negative point but which is not the fault of the owners: some holidaymakers lack education (toilet paper rolled out to be thrown everywhere, flip flops kept for entering the swimming pool area which dirty the footbath, balloons in the swimming pool although it is prohibited). I salute the patience of the owners who demonstrate diplomacy even if it is not always easy. Fortunately, it's only a few people and these little nuisances don't spoil the general atmosphere. The entire team (entertainment, catering, maintenance, etc.) is top notch. More broadly, the region is very beautiful and deserves to be discovered. In summary, this family campsite is a safe bet.

Large families should refrain, because the chalets are very small, promiscuity and lack of space are present.The equipment provided leaves something to be desired (defective household appliances)The hygiene of the chalet is really limited. Hello, this opinion is only mine of course. So we spent a week in this 4-star campsite well located outside Puy-l’Évêque. The welcome is correct, nothing to complain about. We had a mobile home for 8, which was clean. The campsite as a whole is clean. Now here's what wasn't to our taste. The fairly large swimming pool, two slides, a river, the jacuzzi I have never seen it work. So no one is monitoring, it's all well and good to say under the responsibility of the parents etc………but no supervision, some people are in t-shirts in the water, some are in boxers, some have both ( even the bartender), it’s abused. Very clean you might say. The activities depend, we did a pétanque competition where we couldn't finish correctly because it was poorly organized until the end. For certain evenings, those who have reserved forTables can participate but others can't, so if we want to come and have a drink or eat an ice cream and participate we can't, that's cool. The weight room apart from the fact of being small is dangerous (you will see in the photo), the cables hanging, the bench not stable, I pinched the corner of my hand as it should, they would do better to close because if someone is seriously injured we will talk about your responsibility again. Some people complained about not seeing anyone running on the football field, balls were flying outside and really disturbing people. Bar level, it's okay, the restaurant too, personally I had a piece from the butcher and I had two beef skewers. As for the calm of the campsite, it's silent from 11 p.m., there are always people who don't understand that, I'm not against talking about the terrace but screaming is fine for 2 minutes. As far as evenings go, it wasn't too bad. There was the concert evening, the two speakers came, we gave them songs and they sang, for my part it was really excellent. Here is my return, a 4 star campsite which in my eyes does not deserve them, be careful with security, besides the swimming pool is until 8 p.m. but you can go there discreetly. Lots of things to improve, security needs to be reviewed urgently, be careful

Great mobile home with the family room which allows you to put a travel cot without being too cramped. The entertainment team is top notch, the entertainment is super enjoyable, very diverse and varied for all audiences. The owners are great, really very attentive. The aquatic area is very enjoyable and accessible to all ages.Very quiet campsite, fairly shaded mobile home.

Came 1 month ago, very dilapidated chalet, dirty and uncomfortable, completely broken driveway, in fact they warn you when you arrive that you need a 4x4 to get around. So watch out for low vehicles!The manager does not accept comments, the customer has no reason and is not king with them!!Superb pool and area though.I will not come back
