CAMPING PADIMADOUR

Fabulous 4 nights in our motorhome at Padimadour. Gorgeous swimming pool (indoor and out), excellent sanitary facilities, small shop, really lovely bar and food available. The family owners are lovely - really welcoming, helpful and friendly. Sylvan and his mother work very hard to keep the site so beautiful and well kept. Lots to see in the area - lovely cycling along really quiet lanes, to Rocamadour in particular. Will definitely return.

Last minute booking as Balloon festival on weekend we stayed and everywhere fully booked. Sylvain was amazing - took booking over phone and we asked for quite corner out of the way. On arrival huge pitch lots of shade and so peaceful. Indoor and outdoor pools lots of toilets and showers all very very clean. Not a huge site for campers which suited us fine and once balloon festival over site very quiet. Sylvain gave us directions to cycle along farm tracks to Rocamadour which was just perfect. We found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful the area rural and for us the campsite was perfect - so we stayed extra night and could have stayed longer but work calls - highly recommend ❤️

Just returned from two weeks camping at this lovely campsite. It had everything we needed, not too big, nice facilities, good entertainment in the evenings, great location, nice pool and shower blocks and the staff were all lovely. The shop is very basic but there is a large supermarket in Gramat, about 8 minutes drive away, so not a problem at all. We were the only english on the site but that makes it feel like you're actually on holiday abroad, so it's quite nice! Pitches are good sizes. Just ask for one with shade as waa super hot. The area is beautiful with plenty to visit and do within an hours drive of the campsite. We did sarlat side about 5 years ago and was worried wouldn't be as pretty, but it was just as stunning. Didn't want to leave really. If your looking for a quieter smaller campsite in the dordogne to relax on then camping padimadour is perfect.

Nice lay-out and well maintained grounds. The staff was very friendly, but the basics a bit of a lett down. It's nice to have a heated covered pool area, but I rather have a warm shower in a heated building (April outside temperature 4 degrees). Several shaving lights that I tried were not working by the mirrors. The facilities were very clean.So where there seems to be a lot of attention to details (nice flower beds, etc), we experienced a blind spot for some basics.

The most relaxing campsite especially out of season, well run, spotlessly clean, fantastic pool and surroundings terraces, friendly service and owners so welcoming.
