Latest reviews for CAMPING VILLAGE DU PORT
Lovely ambiance and beautiful campground. We had a nice pitch for our camper car below some walnut trees. There’s a lot of space for children to explore. Chickens, goats and many more.Very nice (family) bathrooms.Def one we want to go back to one day!
Glamping tent was great, was very impressed with it. Had 2 bedrooms, bathroom and full kitchen in the tent. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking own meals. Tent and beds etc seemed brand new. Just needed to bring your own cleaning sprays, cleaning/drying cloths. Can hire towels and sheets from reception if needed.Fresh bread can be ordered for daily pickup at reception. Was a lovely quiet location, they were doing some maintenance/upgrading to main pool area so this was closed while we were staying, but second pool was still open to use.Close to activities such as caving and canoeing. Close to Rocamadour for site seeing.Would come and stay if I was ever here again.
Fantastic campsite and wine bar with lovely ambiance. The location couldn’t be better and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful new facilities - would recommend for a visit to this part of the world.
This is a lovely campsite. What can be more magical than camping in a walnut grove? The pitches are a good size and well serviced. The toilets were clean and very new. Plenty of showers and WCs too. A nice swimming pool, and close to the Dordogne. Two good village shops within walking distance, and the village is very pleasant too. And not crowded in mid-June. Thank you.
This has to be one of the best & friendliest campsites we visited in our many years of camping! Large sites, with electricity and water, surrounded by Walnut trees, lots of shade and glorious sunshine. Superb showers/wash & laundry area, brand new facilities, no expense spared by owners.Eco camping, no cars on site, and a limited area for camper-vans. Fabulous reception area & bar with a shop with local artisan foods /wines & local products. Nearby village has a bakery, Spar, restaurants etc 5 mins by foot. Ideal both for families and more independent travelers, on the banks of the Dordogne river. Superb staff, friendly and efficient..Highly recommended…enjoy!
